I forgot my coat in their room, called right the next morning, I was informed that the coat could not be parceled to Nairobi and I had to go get it myself, I don't frequent Naivasha, so months later when I called for pickup, I was informed that my suit coat had been given  away. 
Their accomodation is as pathetic as their customer service.

Theft, Pathetic customer service, pathetic accomodation.

Run, run, run away from this hotel. Working on swimming pool, bugs in food, rooms with oozing toilets, holes in walls, ripped curtains, dark, scary, super gross. Arrived on a tour and all 16 travelers refused to stay. Run. Skip this resort. 

Run fast, Don’t book here

Very poorly maintained facilities. Soiled upholstery, stagnant sewage,broken bathroom tiles. Overall an underwhelming experience. We came here on the second leg of our journey from the Maasai Mara where we stayed at an amazing place, so it was very disappointing to be staying in such a place.We were booked in by Mamu Travels and we assumed that they knew what they were doing as they ought to be aware of which properties are decent to send their clients to. We didn't even get a refund for the night we didn't spend there.

Subpar

Spent one night.
Rooms are dated. 
Bathroom sink water splashes all over floor.
Electricity extremely poor; it was off and on all evening.
Internet extremely poor hardly worked, have your own internet.
Bathroom vent windows don’t close thus the room was filled with mosquitos.
TV mounted one way and doesn’t work.
Breakfast basic 
Low budget hotel and that is the quality of accommodation, food and experience.
Management should revisit the business plan and improve the hotel. Offer good basic accommodation, service and experience.

Basic Budget Accommodation

This is the most pathetic hotel stay i have come across. Room service is like asking for a kidney.....room is mouldy, room has no water, front office arrogant and very patronising to help, restaurant waiter full of attitude - Nancy who rolls eyes on questions.
I would not come back here even on a free ticket.

PATHETIC ACCOMODATION

Sweet Lake Resort is an affordable place to spend 3-day weekend.  It is great for children to play around, watch birds and listen to insects.  The rooms are clean and with fresh iron sheets everyday.  The meals are not so great

Great place to spend 3 day weekend

We were amazed when we walked in to the suite when we thought it would just be a room.  However, we killed 4 mosquitoes throughout the night INSIDE our net and saw many more out of the net.  There was a note to let the water run for a bit in order to get hot water so we did, but still never got hot water.  We did mention it to reception and they said they would look into it.  We would be willing to try again for the price if we could be assured that the problems were fixed.

Large room but several issues

Overall my wife, baby and I had a comfortable stay but there needs to be improvement by the reception in handling basic requests of the clients in rooms. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The WiFi strength in the rooms was also abit wanting. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. The rooms could also do with a heater to cater for cold nights whenever possible

Budget friendly, needs improvement

We had a wonderful time with my lady friends and their children, the rooms and beds were clean & spacious, good food and ample space for children to play. Excellent customer services too. The hotel is easily accessible from Naivasha town

Weekend GateAway

We stayed at Sweet lake for a night and the rooms are run down with stains on the ceilings and chipped paint on the walls. The shower barely had tepid water, there were stains on our sheets and a blanket folded in the middle of the mattress with the bottom stained sheet over it which was quite strange.

The restaurant is basic but the staff were helpful. Was happy to get back home and take a hot shower
