We stayed here for two nights. 
The positives: 1) Samburu is a nice park, and when staying here you are close to the wildlife, 2) the food was good, although not spectacular, and 3) the staff was very friendly.
The negatives: The standard of the rooms is not acceptable. They need to seal a lot of holes in the roof and walls… We had a whole family of bats in our room that flew around all night, and a really big lizard (not the small Geckos). The only other guests at the camp had problems with bats too and did not enjoy their rooms.

Choose another camp, too much vermin

First of all the location is great: the lodge is located in a nice quiet spot of the park, next to a river, so that is possible to observe an incredible amount of birds, baboons and all sort of nice animals from the lodge. I read some people complaining about the presence of insects and lizards: well, if you do not want to see a striped skink or an agama lizard do not go in East Africa. If you do not mind, and do not mind having vervet monkeys playing on the roof of your lodge, Sentrim is a great place.   

Regarding the services, the food was really outstanding, and all the staff was really nice, from the night guards to the waiters.

Finally, Samburu is an amazing place. Definitely recommended.

Great location and nice staff

It was the quiet season when we stayed at Sentrim Samburu, so my wife and I were the only people at the lodge. The lodges were large clean and simple. Exactly as we expected. There were various monkeys and birds on the site and they even used solar panels to power the lodges. The Chef Anthony was wonderful.

Great Start to Safari 

Its a lonely paradise in the middle of wilderness. At the opposite banks of Ewaso Ngiro you can observe the daily life of a Samburu village.  For your approach you should use a  4WD because of the heavy sandy beaten track. 
After the tents have been washed away by a flood-desaster cottages are installed. They are large and clean but with a little bit simple furnishing ( except a very modern and well supplied bathroom ).Solar power is available 24 h for light , charging IT-equipment and hot water for the shower.Unfortunately the solar power is not able to drive the fan during the hottest hours of the day, when there is also no generator.
The highlight was the most friendly and 24 h helpful staff - reception, waiter/waitress, Asistant Manager, Manager.The Chef prepared every day the ( good ) dishes of our choice. Especially for us ( only two guests ) they arranged a Samburu Warriors Dance - and on our (just for fun ) request the Manager himself joined in.
We will not forgett this hospitality and come back some day.

Simplicity and amazing care/ hospitality at the banks of Ewaso Ngiro

They charged me $300 per night when the agreed rate was supposed to be $230USD. Not to mention I stayed 8 nights, but they charged me for 10. Not worth the money at all considering that there's no wifi or reliable access to electricity. 

1:30 drive away from where the animals are in the park. Shower and toilets broke on multiple occasions. I imagine that it will only be a matter of time before they go out of business.
