The hotel is located right on the boat ramp,the rooms are facing the Mekong and have a great view.You get a coupon for the pool at Sengalhoune Resort on check-in and you can also use the beds there.We were there at sunset, it was wonderful! Super nice staff in the villa!!!

It's a comfortable hotel, at the foot of the dock, with breathtaking views of the Mekong.

Very well located

I had a meal here after touring the island in a tuktuk.The food is tasty and fresh. You had to wait for them to prepare your order.The service excellent. The ambiance very good.The price similar to other ones around here. 

Lunch

We stayed three nights in this hotel. There are two rates: 250,000 with breakfast and the right to use the pool a little further, or 150,000 without breakfast or swimming pool. We chose the rate 2. The room is large, clean, bright and the beds are made every day. The hotel is just to the left of the exit.

It's a good hotel.

We slept three nights in this hotel. The room on the Mekong side was 250,000 kips away with breakfast and the right to use the Sengalhoune Resort swimming pool (300 meters further away). While the room on the other side was 150,000 kips away, without breakfast and also without the right to use the swimming pool. We opted for the latter. It was clean, calm and air conditioned. Cleaning was done every morning. In addition, we had Wi-Fi in the room. The hotel is well located, just in front of the dockside. Only bemool, the low water in the bathroom. I think this hotel is of good quality x-ray (we were in low season).

It's satisfying.

Nice hotel on Don Khong Island on the banks of the Mekong River. Very quiet. Nice view from the hotel terrace which also serves for breakfast. Charming rooms but the doors and windows close badly. Fat bemool breakfast is bad with very limited choice and dry bread. Coffee is barely drinkable... You can rent bicycles near the hotel to visit the island.

Nice hotel by the Mekong River

The hotel is right, the room was beautiful, big, typical, the setting is beautiful with the view of the Mekong River!!! Small water flow problem. The hotel is ideally located near the dockside. Lunch outside, very nice!

It's a nice frame.

Whilst it is in a good spot, do not trust the owner of this establishment. I am having a battle royal trying to recover money from the owner after he had agreed to charge for two nights but sneakily charged for four.

Beware when you check out the place because he is a mercenary dude. For the first time breakfast was not included in the price and his cancellation policy leaves much to be desired.

Avoid this place like the plague

I spent one night here because my previous accommodation was booked out. Positive: - a carefully maintained and seemingly new building from the outside. - carefully maintained garden neutral: - Location (directly by the river, but at night there is music playing through the neighboring bar) Negative: - Staff almost never present. Reception occupied by children who do not speak English - many insects ( ants, spiders and mosquitoes) in the room - dirty bedding - mold in the bathroom - ball hood can't be closed - the worst breakfast and by far the worst accommodation on my trip! I can only recommend and live in one of the numerous alternatives.

Outside Hui inside

The hotel is right at the boat landing on Don Khone. The clean, large room had air-con and a nice balcony with a lovely view of the river. Breakfast was not included. All in all, the room had excellent value, especially compared with our previous room (c.f. Baba Guesthouse, Don Det). Nu, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Tip: just across the bridge, on Don Det, the Long Island Guesthouse has a pool that visitors can use (ca. €2/day, incl. towel). As it was very hot when we were there, we went to the pool twice – despite it being rather full at times, it was still very enjoyable and worthwhile.

We enjoyed Don Det a lot, but we liked Don Khone even more, perhaps somewhat due to our ages (43 & 47). Don Det is definitely more of a backpackers’ place and simply has more visitors than Don Khone, which is a bit quieter and, for us, even more relaxed. In any case, the 4000 Islands are definitely worth visiting.
