Stayed here for 6 days. My double room was large with a wardrobe, dressing table, chairs, fridge... Pls note that there is no elevator here - based on my observation, staff may or may not offer to help with your luggage. When I checked in, the female staff did not show me to my room or offer to help with luggage but few days later when a Caucasian couple with 2 large luggage came, she offered help and walked them to their room. 
The room seemed clean but the floor was dusty - my feet were black from walking around after a while. Wifi is great and AC works fine too. There is free breakfast - mainly porridge with some meat (pork?), some buns and fruit with coffee, juice. Simple and functional. 
What is great: large rooms, large bed, great location near shops, night market and restaurants. 
Not so great: no lift, limited breakfast variety, stingy on toilet paper, construction works nearby
One highlight was the really sweet staff - they try their best to get you what you need (my room had a wardrobe but no hangers) and are always smiling and considerate. Would recommend if you are ok with climbing stairs and have small luggage.

Ok stay, lovely staff

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel given the low price.  The place is spotless.  The room was a good size.  The location is excellent with lots of restaurants near by. 
The woman at the front desk was very helpful.
It's nothing fancy but excellent value for the price

Spotless Budget Choice

Booked for 2 nights for wife and me. Room very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to food, shops, river market. 15 minute tuk tuk ride to consulate. 50k for ride. Nice breakfast in morning. Good stay.

Vietiane Visa Run

Impressive a/c, big rooms, great location, friendly staff, fair price. You can do a lot worse. Yes, you need to climb stairs. The towels are a bit worn. The wifi is variable but works. There is a hint of mildew in the shower. It‘s Laos, people. If any of this bothers you, do not go outside here or anywhere else. 

The desk will do your laundry, make your breakfast, arrange your taxi, and watch your bags, and not steal your stuff. What more do you want?

Decent choice in fine location 

This hotel was fine for a couple of nights, the room was clean and the hotel is in a great location close to all the major attractions and the night market. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. I have read other reviews complaining about the wifi but I could not believe that we were getting wifi in our rooms. that is so rare in hotels around the world. Breakfast was ok but we were just given it and I did not want a full breakfast with sausage and egg, it meant that my other half got two breakfasts and i just got some toast and fruit which was quite sufficient but I would have preferred to have been given a choice. It could also have offended some vegetarians and I doubt they could cater for vegans

Minus points;
No lift with steep stairs, no use for infirm
No safe in room
Towels were threadbare
Poor breakfast with no choice
Although staff were friendly and helpful, their English was very poor, therefore communicatiions were difficult

Decent hotel, with some faults

Stayed in a triple room for one night. 
Pros:
The room was quite nice and clean, the location is close to Vientiane Night Market. 
Cons:
Wi-fi super slow in the 3rd floor.
Breakfast took so long (it was not readily available, they will cook when guests come to dining room).
The hotel provided transfer to Border but with relatively high price (160,000kip per person).
