Booked via expedia for 55$C a night for 4 nights.

Arrived around noon so room was not ready, so went for lunch at a Viet restaurant across the street. Returned and was provided with a small drink while i checked in.  Room was on the 4th floor, good sized, with a king bed, sofa, LCD TV with decent channels (incl TV5) , fridge and clean bathroom. 

There is a pool on second floor, not heated as well as a gym (closed as it was under reno). The restaurant of the 5th floor served decent western and asian breakfast buffet, the pho station being my favorite. 

Location is decent, with restaurants, shops, and temples to visit within walking distance.

Convenient and well located

I hate to say it, but it was a bad experience from start to finish. When we arrived to check in, staff could not find my reservation. When they finally did find it, they said it did not include breakfast, even though my reservation details said otherwise. My room was dirty, full of mosquitoes (I killed at least 5) and the room looked nothing like the photos. The swimming pool area was not lit and there are stairs, so it was quite dangerous after sunset. The hallways were crazy hot because the windows were open, letting in all the heat. They also have a weird dirty massage area between the lobby and elevator. I have no idea who would ever want a massage there. During my 2 night stay, I never saw any customers. Workers just lounged there all day and it was just kind of awkward. 

We booked a taxi with the hotel, but they didn’t give us any receipt or confirmation, which caused unnecessary confusion with the taxi driver upon our departure. 

I can’t recommend this hotel at all.

Don’t stay here

The hotel does not look as the photos depict it. It is dated and in need of maintenance. This hotel could be better however the staff are inattentive and put little effort into their work and there's not much supervision. The room was okay however the curtains and drapes could use a cleaning, the view from the window was of a junk pile. I don't think the windows were ever washed. Other guests took the liberty of smoking in the lobby and no staff ever intervened. There's a massage area in the lobby that makes the place smell like dirty feet. I was there several days and the same beer bottles were in the hallway most of my time there. The pool area is dirty, cigarette butts in every thing that could be used as an ashtray. The exercise room is full of construction materials and the washroom off the lobby had used toilet paper in the flower pot which seemed to be there some time.

Poor work ethic

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel, when i arrived in the evening it took 30min at reception to get my room. The hotel was very noisy till late night, in the room were many mosquito, cortain was damaged, no hanger in the closet, bathroom was smelly, so it was far from good. I did change the room one day later but not much different. I was mislead by the photo's when i did book but later i realized the pics were far from real. And the price of the rooms were almost the half if you book at hotel, not online.

Bad Expereince

Well located and comfortable hotel. Close to morning market and a walk to central town and night markets. New owners, I think, and a whole new management team since i was there in June. Very keen to please and extremely helpful.  Bit of confusion about airport taxis…one of the drivers got bored waiting and drove off…but the hotel sorted this and upgraded us to bigger room by way of compensation.
They seem to be working thru and improving the place so that is good. Restaurant next door is good for a quick feed if you not up to going out.
Breakfast is good and plentiful.
Will stay again.

Nice Hotel, Good Location, Helpful Management

This is a very good hotel. The breakfast was amazing and I ate so much every morning. The location was central and easy for walkers. I loved the spa and massage was one of the best in my travels. I like the pool and fitness center. Always clean and not many people using. Staff are definitely up there as sole of the kindest people I’ve met.

Great hotel

Top hotel in Vientiane. 

Breakfast was top notch quality. Swimming pool was great way to relax. Room was clean and comfortable with good shower and AC. Staff are very kind and helpful. Located in a nice area. I would definitely recommend staying here. 

Superb

Two Sleepless nights after a tiring day causes lots of stress. There is electricity leakage( technician came but nothing solved) sounds behind the bed, air-conditioning was rattling like motorboat and there is NO parking for this hotel ( park by the road pavement) ; with all those how to sleep? Room furniture was equally run down. Positive would be the staffs who are very polite and helpful especially Kam Dee.

Sleepless Nights in Vientienne 

An older style hotel still our deluxe style room was perfectly adequate with daily servicing with smiling happy staff over the 6 days we were there. The pool on the 2nd floor is good for doing short laps and a small gym with weights and exercise machines. The daily breakfast was good with a great variety happy and efficent staff there led by Ajit a colorful character with a wealth of information we enjoyed many a chat with him. On reception Jer, Khamdy & Khoun were always smiling and helpful, reception manager Annie was lovely and most agreeable to our requests we would stay here again so obviously recommend this hotel.

French Style Exterior,

Not really what I would call a boutique hotel - this is a fairly large and oldish place. The rooms could do with a n uplift. Otherwise the hotel is in a good location - walking distance to the Mekong area and Talat Sao - morning market. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast has an amazing buffet of Asian and western foods - probabnly one of the best best breakfasts in town for this level of hotel.
