Stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was a buffet style set up and was very nice. Recommend including this with your booking.

The room we got was a relatively nice size but our friends got given a much more snug double room so it may be pot luck which one you get unless you specify maybe.

The room was clean, A/C was good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were happy with our stay and recommend on.

Only down sides for me was that we didn’t get given a loo roll in our room and had trouble locating a member of staff to request one which was a little annoying. The bathroom is also very small and the shower isn’t a great set up, it’s angled up right so pretty impossible to wash your hair/body as you need to hold the shower head while washing. 

Overall stay was good though and comfy beds! Must stress I wouldn’t be put off staying here again. 

Great Stay

We checked into the hotel and was told by the receptionist that for the first night we will stay in one room on the 4th floor, we will then move to a different room for 2 nights on the 4th floor and then move to the 2nd floor for the last night. This was not acceptable but we were told the hotel was full and this was the only way. We then asked what discount we would get off the price for this inconvenience, he laughed and said, non. After some discussion he managed to allow us to stay in the same room for the full duration and showed us to our room, this was not the room we had booked, nor did we receive any refund for the upgraded room that we had paid for but not received.

Overbooked

This hotel is a joke, and the funny part is that it ranks well on booking with photos from another hotel.
Very Noisy, No Windows, No Air, No space in the Bathroom, No elevator...
The bed was very old.

The Worst Hotel in Vientiane

We arrived to our booking.com deluxe double room with private balcony. 
As we arrived at new I house we were shown next door to Mali Namphu hotel (I thought this would be where we had to check in maybe). We were asked to pay more than advertised and had a battle to pay a little less (but still not as what advertised). We were then taken to a small room in Mali namphu with no balcony and no explanation of why we were not staying in the hotel that we booked.
I questioned this and was told they weren’t informed I booked a deluxe room. So after a short wait we were taken to another room.... no private balcony or apology once again. 
I requested to talk to the manager and was presented to a man who could only explain that this hotel was the sister hotel and that ihouse was full. I explained my problem was this had not been explained at check in, I paid more than I wanted to for the room, I was shown to a room that was substandard and then to another room that still did not fit the booking description. I explained my issue was being deceived and a little honesty and room discount at this point would have gone a long way. 
Apparently I was putting up walls and so it was impossible for him to help me. 
After a further struggle I managed to get booking cancelled for free and refund and leave the hotel. I would recommend to avoid this place. I’ve travelled a lot and value for money is not good. The experience of my one hour here was worse than any other in SE Asia where in general people are very honest and polite. Local staff appeared to try and help as much as they could.

Awful experience.

We got a dirty, humid, closed up room without window. The bathroom was dirty, the walls were dirty, and the floor was dirty. The sink was leaking, and the pressure in the shower was so not good. The toilet-seat was really un-inviting. I would not recommend this to any one.

Do yourself a favor and do not stay hear. Dishonest, greedy and untrustworthy. False advertising. Bad vibe, run down rooms. Unfriendly staff. Noisey and unclean rooms. There are good hotels in Vientiane this is absolutely not one of them. BAD.

The bed was horrible (the springs were maybe broken?...), bathroom not very nice and there was an ant nest i the ceiling so in the middle of the night we discovered hundreds of ants on the wall going down to the floor... when i told one of the staff all he said was "oh, okay" and that was it... only thing that was good was the wifi
