You get what you pay for. It was cleanish, toilet roll not restocked, bugs in the room, breakfast ok but the staff were lazy and couldn’t be bothered to bring us a menu. We had a flight from Udon Thani in Thailand and we were happy to pay more for a mini van that took us straight through for time and convenience. We booked a shuttle with the hotel for 60,000 kip each to udon bus station. The next day the driver was late, when we asked where the driver was he was sat chatting to staff. We thought we would be taken straight through but they just dropped us at the bus station and put us on the public bus!! (Which only costs 22,000 kip each). So they pocketed 76,000 kip from us for a 5 min taxi to the bus station. 

Beware of bus SCAM to Udon Thani

Cheap and cheerful hostel. This hostel doesn’t pretend to be something that it’s not. It ticks every box of everything that you need from a hostel. Extremely helpful staff, clean beds and room and social atmosphere. I enjoyed my stay here.

Cheap and cheerful

This place wasn't especially easy to find. But reception were really friendly. The room is rather nice, as is the bathroom. There is WiFi. I certainly couldn't complain at anything, I really recommend it as an easy and cheap place to stay

I got a private double room with own bathroom for £12 - nothing else to say!

Not my favorite hostel by any means but if you're on a budget it works...a little bit far from town, although exercise is always good and bikes are for rent close by. The beds as hard as rocks and I found a fake eyelash stuck to my blanket so it's unclear if they even wash them between people. They ask you to take your shoes off which is fine downstairs but upstairs the carpet and the bathrooms always seemed a bit dirty... breakfast is included though, there's AC in the rooms and the wifi works great so if you can look past those things and don't want to spend too much money it's really not a bad place. Most of the staff was fine, however a few members could have been a bit friendlier and welcoming.

Average budget hostel, a little dirty though

Nice staff, very quit, free breakfast, clean enough, books to read, bed are alright, fans and aircon works, Wi-Fi is actually good! 
I've seen heaps of nice hostels tho so can definitely not give more than 3 stars. 
Not a very social place, most backpackers stay for themselves, no party.
