Good looking hotel which was getting a fresh external makeover when I was there. Really comfortable beds. The first floor verandah rooms offering excellent value and a chance to watch the courtyard activities. Polite and attentive staff.

Quiet but central

I really feel this is worth more than 3 stars but possibly 4 is being a bit to generous, but I have to remind myself that this hotel is in Laos and not USA.

It was clean enough but only just, the staff were exceptionally kind and friendly and the internet did work, though only just.

I stayed here because of the location, though its not central at all.

Overall its OK, I'd probably pay more and stay at a better hotel next time but at least they did try, and there is good off street parking too.

Good for the price, more like 3.5 stars but better then 3 stars.

I was on Vientiane for a business trip and chose this hotel because 1) it advertised itself as having wifi in all areas, and 2) it was located close to the offices where my meetings were.  I knew going into things that it was located far from the center of town but figured if I could walk to my meetings and use my room for work, I'd be ok.

On arrival there was nobody working there -- the desk and lobby were completely empty.  After about ten minutes of waiting a very young person came into the lobby, saw me, and scurried out to get someone else.  This person spoke some English, but not much, and was maybe 20.  They had two Agoda reservations, and could not seem to figure out which was mine despite having my passport in front of them (perhaps he couldn't read English letters?).  After some confusion I got my room key, and the wifi password, and went upstairs.

There was no wifi signal for the lobby router in the room.  I came back down to ask for the wifi password to , but the staff didn't know it and had to call around to various people to ask for it.  Finally he got it, and we connected my tablet, but after 15 minutes it became clear that the router had no internet service.  I came back downstairs and asked for a different room closer to the lobby, and was told no.  I sat in the un-airconditioned lobby to work for around 10 minutes, with the staff also sat there, streaming karaoke videos and games on their phones, which further dragged the bandwidth down to zero.  Finally I called for a cab and left.  Prepaid on Agoda, so I got nothing for my money but at least my new hotel had wifi.

If you don't need any internet, don't really need any help of any kind from hotel staff, and you have a reason to stay in that area of town (it is far from the center), the hotel is decently built and the rooms are large and clean.  However you can get the same or better hotel in the city center within walking distance of most tourist sites and better access to transportation for the same money.
