I had my wedding there, and the place is amazing, people are nice and food was really good.
My cake was just what I was asking for.(local people baked it, they gave me there number).
Would I come back? YES !!!!
And I will do soon!

Wedding!

Stayed here for a few days over Christmas 2011. What a gem!. A lovely rural setting - you're about 15 minutes East of Cesis. The guesthouse is set off the P28 road about 200m. The main building has the dining room, reception and bedrooms, while the other building - some 100m further on - has a large sauna, kitchen, and banquet room. Outside, the guesthouse has its own very large(!) grassed area, so you can play volleyball etc, along with two fishing lakes, a dinghy, and beyong that a decent sized wood. Be sure to ask for a taste of the tree sap!! The bulding were built around 2003 I think, and are very warm in winter. The food at the guesthouse is all home cooked and is delicious. The place is very quiet and clean, and can easily accomodate a large number of people, in both the hotel bedroom, and a communal sleeping area in the loft area. The staff speak, Latvian, Russian and English, and are more than happy to arrange visits for you to various locations in Latvia, and can even supply a guide. In my opinion, this place is suitable for all types of stay - business, holidays. couples, families (ask for a family room), school trips etc. They also have the space - both inside and outside - to host weddings and business seminars. Parking is great, and it's very quiet. Great place to just unwind.
