Xcelsus
Good friendly service, large, free, safe parking area in front of the hotel.  You can get to the city with one minibus, i.e. microbus no. 5432, ticket 1.10 EUR and about 15 min.
There is air conditioning, the window can be opened, there were no mosquitoes.

The hotel's breakfast is ok, there is not so much bacon, there are not at all small sausages. There is omelette, you make porridge from portion bags, there is bread, cheese and cold meats, tomato and cucumber.
Coffee and cookies are always available from the coffee machine in the coffee room.
There is a really good steak restaurant "Meat me grillbärs" in 1.2 km distance, open until 21.00, and  a good Chinese food kiosk in the backyard of A7 Rimi center, open only at daytime.
There is also a good hair salon inside the Rimi center.

Hyvä ystävällinen palvelu, iso, turvallinen parkkipaikka hotellin edessä. Yhdellä pikkubussilla eli mikrobussilla no 5432 pääsee kaupunkiin, 1.10 EUR ja noin vartti.
Ilmastointi löytyy, ikkunan voi avata, ei ollut hyttysiä. 

Hotellin aamiainen on ihan ok, pekonia on hintsusti, nakkeja ei ole, munakasta on,  pussista teet puuron, mutta on  leipää, juustoa ja leikkeleitä, tomaattia, kurkkua. 
Kahvihuoneessa on koko ajan tarjolla kahvikoneesta kahvia ja keksiä. 
1,2 km päässä on tosi hyvä pihviravintola Meat me grillbärs. A7 Rimin pihalta löytyy hyvä kiinalainen ruokakioski päivisin. Rimi-keskuksen sisällä on hyvä kampaamo, on testattu. 

Good for car travellers 

Clean, comfortable hotel. Lovely breakfast with a wonderful omelette offered and cooked to order each morning.
In a quiet location. We left our car in the hotel's free car park and took a taxi into Riga for sightseeing, the cost of the taxi was €7 each way right into the centre. It meant we could enjoy a beer/wine and saved a fortune on parking!

Owners were so helpful

It was not a business hotel, prepared to host this type of customer and with people who spoke other languages. It was a hotel for couples and to celebrate wedding and events very quiet and lovely.

Despite the language, the attention was excellent, familiar and very attentive.

They let me choose the room (they told me that there was a wedding and that the noise might bother me). The room and bathroom were large, very clean with lots of details and the huge and spectacular bed for my alone. The only drawback is that I chose a habituation located to the extreme and I think for this reason there was no way to connect to the internet.

Breakfast, simple but personal and quality.

It is in the middle of the countryside so lovely but and it is not possible to eat or dine at the hotel and around there was nothing.

Really quiet and modern and lovely

The Xcelsus hotel outside of Riga, Latvia, is a small, private, two-story hotel which appears to focus on events such as weddings.  The rooms are large, very comfortable, and quiet overlooking open space.  It's family-managed and is very friendly.  It is not in downtown Riga but is closer to the Kekava Municipality; one therefore needs to take a taxi or have a car to get around the region.  Free wi-fi, but the TV could be upgraded with stations other than BBC and Latvian.

Quiet Small Hotel

I stayed here for three nights. Quite basic though very clean and quiet room. Lovely breakfast. Hosts/owners/managers (?) -  Sylvio and Sanita - were very friendly and helpful. 
Not too far from the city in a quiet neighbourhood. 
I would certainly recommend it!
