Our twin room was not very large but was clean, pleasant and comfortable. The guesthouse has an excellent location, just 3-4 minutes to the train and bus station. The hostess is nice, friendly and helpful. She gave us travel tips and showed us how to get to the city centre and the castles.  We enjoyed preparing our meals in the big  kitchen on the ground floor. (If a small refrigerator is installed in each room, then it will be perfect!  It's because someone stole a bag of cheese we had put in the big fridge in the common kitchen.)

A lovely guesthouse with excellent location!

We stayed at the guesthouse for just one night, but we enjoyed the experience. The lady who greeted us there was very nice, the room was big and tidy, and everything (internet, hot water, etc.) worked perfectly well. I felt a little cold at night, but luckily there were extra blankets in the room, and turning on the underfloor heating in the bathroom helped a lot. The location is also very good.

A lovely place to stay

Parks Guest house was a nice choice for our stay in Sigulda. Located just a 10 minute walk from the bus/train station this home with multiple rooms suited our needs nicely. The owner was friendly, the wifi worked great, the bed was comfy and there is a shared kitchen for all of the guests. Overall it was a lovely stay

Good location, great wifi

Very clean, comfortable and cosy place. It looks like the hotel owners carefully think over about all those small things one can need and provide them to make you feel like at home like possibility to use kitchen. The hotel's location is great too. It takes less than 5 minutes of walk from bus and train station to reach it. You can take a breakfast in the cafes situated in about 5 minutes of walk on the other side of the park. And they are opened from the early morning.

When we arrived at 3pm to check in we found out that they had given our room away to someone else who had made a longer booking. They did not even bother to phone or email us to tell us. We were left stranded because all other hotels in town were booked out.
