the hotel staff is not oriented towards guests at all. breakfast costs 10 euros per person, but during the five-day stay there was not a day without problems. Dishes and tools are not washed well - food, coffee, lipstick stains remain. We ordered a room with a large "king size" bed, we got two single beds pushed together. I do not recommend it to people who want basic orderliness and an adequate approach to the customer.

I don't recommend it

Nice personal, comfortable bed, simple breakfast, and free wifi but the room had a nasty smell, therefore, sleeping with an open window was a must also the shower was quite dirty. 
It's ok for a night or two when you are on a business trip but nothing I'd bring my family too.

 

Ok low budget hotel 

The hotel is located almost in the city centre opposite a wonderful modern fountain! There is a possibility to leave the car or near the hotel, or opposite the street in a free parking lot. There is a flat TV with channels in Russian, a refrigerator and a teapot in the room. A very good and varied breakfast with a large selection of dishes.

If you're staying at this hotel, it's only for breakfast and location!

In advance: it was clean and we slept well. Unfortunately, the rooms were far behind our expectations - we probably should have asked TripAdvisor before and not trusted the operator's photos. Our room was furnished with very old cheap furniture, the low bed crawled neatly. The green wallpaper was controversial - it was once modern and eventually it will surely become modern again - perhaps the operators are waiting. The curtain shower personally told me it wasn't particularly pleasant, the bathroom was very small. The room smelled nice - it just didn't exist. At breakfast, our expectations were then dampened accordingly: it was toast, salami and snacks, cereal and meat in a simpler quality.

Unfortunately, this is rather disappointing.

I used the Dzintarjūra hotel for business trip. It is a simple, affordable hotel in the center of Ventspils. The room was clean and warm. Breakfast was wide - omelettes, pancakes, bread, cheese, sausage, corn flakes, juices and other dishes. There is a supermarket a few meters from the hotel. The hotel has a good wi - fi. The service staff was very kind.

Simple hotel

This used to be one of the best hotel in the city and I stayed there once as well. Room looks old style, the smell in the room was bad (we had to open the windows), under the bed we found an empty vodka bottle!! Breakfast - nothing special, people at the FO didn't look welcoming...

Well well well

This is a very basic accommodation. Its not very modern. It’s clean and close the harbour which makes it ideal if you’re arriving or leaving for Sweden or/and the ferry terminal, which is just a few minutes away. 

Basic

Very cozy hotel in very center of Ventspils. Good place for tired travelers. A bit narrow parking place in front of doors if You drive bus or camper. If possible choose rooms with windows towards main entrance. than You can enjoy nice view at complex of fountains.

Nice basic hotel for rest

The hotel is located not far from the bus station, 40 minutes from the beach. Two hypermarkets (Maxima, Mego) are not far from the hotel. I booked the room by mail without a bank card. The staff is very friendly. You can make the iron and return to the reception. Breakfast is served in the very clear and clean room. WIFI is free.

Simple clean hotel

The bathroom on the left, no more than 2 square meters in size, with holes in the wall, with wooden chaps in those holes. It seems that in the best of times, in Latvia, in the center of Wentspils, it was unexpected. It starts with the smell. It is published by apparently linoleum lying in the corridors on the floors. Next you get to the room.
