The room was nice, but one blackout curtain was torn off, and central heating was not on. In November it is problematic and therefore some radiators with fans were used but were noisy. Getting warm water in the shower was also a challenge. But the Hotel has a lot of charm and staffs are helpful.

Nice but could be better at this price range

We had an absolutely amazing time at  Le Telegraphe! The staff were attentive and the food at the restaurant is excellent. Breakfast was enjoyable and had a good selection .
However the room needs a renovation specially the toilets.  Also, we noticed that it hadn’t been cleaned properly.

Nice place

The hospitality, food and location was superb. It was my first visit to Lebanon and due to my experience at Le Telegraphe, it won’t be my last. The ambiance will brilliant.  A big thank you to the staff. Cheers 

Superb experience 

Absolutely amazing! I stayed here for two weeks with some friends and we all had a wonderful experience. Located just outside Beirut, I enjoyed being in a quieter area overlooking a vineyard on a mountain with the Mediterranean in the background. A quick drive from all major tourist locations in Lebanon, Le Telegraphe was a great place to come home to everyday. Staff was thoughtful, helpful, and shared amazing stories about life in Lebanon and the rooms were clean and comfortable. My friends and I particularly enjoyed the large indoor and outdoor common spaces.

Great Visit!

We went to Le Telegraphe just for dinner and to experience the place, and were bowled over by it all. The setting was lovely with grand gardens all round and the hotel looked splendid inside with a large display of paintings by local artists.  Next time we visit Lebanon we shall certainly spend a night or two at the hotel.  But this night was just dinner and it was superb.  There was a good range on the menu and the food was every bit as good as the menu implied- quite superlative.  On top of all this we washed the food down with wines made in the Belle-Vue vineyards.  They they were superb too.  We had an evening we shall long remember and hope to do it again as soon as possible.  Most highly recommended.

Everything was just perfect

the place is located in Bhamdoun village, they have both an outdoor and an indoor space with lots of greenery outside. The food is great and they have their own winery. The place is great for both lunching and dining.  

Unique place with exceptional wine

We stayed 2 nights at Le Telegraphe in early February.  The boutique hotel is comfortable, warm, generous in space and functional.  The staff at the hotel are attentive but discreet.  The fireplace crackling in the room, the majestic mountain views, the art in the property and the serenity of the hills made it a memorable experience.  Naji and Jill, the owners of the property, have done a fantastic job integrating the village spirit and using ancestral traditions in their hotel and restaurant.  Their mission is to reinvigorate Bhamdoun through its natural gifts of the fertile wine land, the scenery and the dedicated Bhamdounis.  It does ‘take a village’ to create Le Telegraphe, but it also takes a vision and constant nurturing, which Naji and Jill excel at.

City Comfort - Village Passion

The setting is really nice. we just been there, and already looking forward to our next visit to see it in a different light evening) or a different season (Winter). Food is amazing. really great & fresh ingredients and well prepared. the Staff is well organized and fast to serve.

Great place

It is an awesome getaway from city,how to start, the owner is very generous and his passion to bhamdoun and wine is remarkable, he brings u to the history of the belle vue which is fascinating, the staff are more than friendly,kind and very polite, the food is excellent from the home made cookies to the main dish, what to say more, i highly recommend this place it is a must to visit it,
We will be back as soon as possible to relive this passion again and again.i encourage everyone to visit the telegraphe.hats off👍👍👍
