Bekaa Kafra is a village in the Bsharri District in Northern Lebanon, located in front of the village of Bsharri, across the Qadisha Valley, it is the birth town of St. Charbel. It has an altitude ranging from 1,500 meters to 2,000 meters at its highest point, making it the highest village in Lebanon and one of the highest in the Middle East. Bekaa Kafra is 115 kilometers away from Beirut. 

Visit to Bekaa Kafra

This hotel was one of the worst I have been to, and I have visited quite some places in my life. The price does not match the quality at all. My husband and I went there for a relaxing weekend and chose the pool bungalow and instead this is what we got: 
-Awful room with dirty furniture
-Tiny bathroom with old fixtures and shower head
-Noisy evening with a party happening at the hotel. The hotel should be closed to guests if noisy parties are to be hosted. Unfortunately they want to have both to gain as much money as possible
-Noisy pool by the bungalow and kids were up at night making lots of noise in playground
-Other pool was also noisy due to the poor “tabel” music
-Food is awful and breakfast is not good at all.

All in all this hotel is not for classy people looking for a night away from home, especially at rates close to 250 USD.

I am giving it 2 stars for the activities.

Do not stay there if you are looking to relax

I was totally disappointed, we paid much more than it deserves, there were no variety in  the activities, just biking, for kids the ATV is in the parking, they can't go outside the resort even if accompanied, internet not available in the Suites, we ordered dinner but the food wasn't delicious, the waiter changed the platter but the taste was still the same.In the bedroom, the curtains don't block the light at 6:00 am you may wake up . The breakfast was a disaster, it wasn't a buffet, and it was very poor, no fresh juice on the table, on the cheese something colored pink, no fruits no dessert.The staff was very friendly, at the reception, on the pool, at the restaurant.

I can really say that my visit to this hotel was a disappointment, i thought i will have a relaxing weekend but it was the opposite. On saturday a big loud wedding till 1 am and woke up at 6 30 by a marathon. As for the rooms they were average but clean, the breakfast was very bad and poor. The water of the pool is very cold which make your swimming experience in the hotel a nightmare; but i should mention that the receptionists are very cooperative and helpful. Finally i should state that The area is very beautiful 

Escape

Horrible
I don't  recommend this place for many reasons.
First, we ordered for a bed for babies when we made the reservation one month earlier,and when we reached there they said that there was no beds because all are already used and "first come first serve". I think they should tell us the rules.
Second, the check in is at 4pm and the check out is at 12pm, so you don't have enough time to enjoy the pool.
Third, the cleanliness. The place is very dirty. It seems that the clients they go there don't care about the cleanliness and they throw everything on the floor everywhere in the place, plastic cups, cigarettes, bags, papers... And there was nuts and french fries with ketchup on the floor of the playground, it made it very dirty and dangerous because babies put everything they find in their mouth, especially the nuts that could be dangerous for them. Add that the room wasn't so clean.
Fourth, there was no rules for security. Instead of the nuts on the floor of the playground, all the toys in the playground were broken, consequently they were unstable and dangerous.
So I can say that this place is not good anymore like it was few years ago.

So bad

The hotel is in the Bekaa Valley close to Ammiq area. 
The room was big enough for 3 people and it was cleaned on a daily basis. Internet is very slow though. 
As it was spring we didn’t get to benefit from all the facilities available at the hotel. 
The restaurant however needs a lot of improvement and work. The food was served for breakfast was average. There weren’t much variety. We even tried ordering for dinner. The food was horrible. I got sick. 
If you happen to be in the area with a car try Tawlit Ammiq which is around 10-15 min drive for lunch. 


Good hotel

We visited WBCC with our kids, booked a suite : Bedroom plus 2 sofas & a large balcony in a newly erected building thus room was clean and fully functional.
Reception: Average and sometimes stiff with no  proper orientation or signs/ instructions available on site, guests are left to discover their options and privileges on their own.
Room service : Not applicable unless you ask for it. But necessities are provided.
TV channels : Little variety.
Snack bar : Little options.
Activities: Most wildly activities we drove long distance to  enjoy were discontinued or “currently not available” among which : horseback riding, bow & arrow, rope, bonfire party. ATV & Tyro available for adults only so not applicable for 5 kids.
Alternatively, we ended up swimming (private pool access), enjoying nature (beautiful scenery), eating at the pool side restaurant (Food was excellent waiters unbelievably nice, prices reasonable ). 
WBCC is a beautiful place but if management keeps neglecting outdoor activities,families coming from remote areas will probably not visit again.
