Probably the best cakes in Beirut...also amazing chocolate and a designer supermarket..wide selection of alcohol available as is a wide variety of cheese. Be prepared to dish out the cash! Note..the Fraisier is heavenly

The restaurant's food is fine, somewhat expensive, but the breakfast included in the fare is unfortunate.

Correcto Correcto

I was surprised that the room we got was spacious enough. Looking at the hotel lobby and elevator, I thought the rooms would also be small. I was surprised that it was spacious and we even had a sofa and small dinning table. The bed was big and comfortable and really had great rest at this hotel.
La Cigale was not far from a 24 hour Starbucks cafe. Close to a street with footlocker, shops and eating places. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and the staff were also friendly and accommodating.

The room was spacious enough

Staying 4 nights in this hotel. It is located along a busy artery during the day. Closing the windows you can keep the noise of cars low even if you feel in the background. Reception and staff are very available. Wi-Fi connection leaves much to be desired. Restaurant a bit expensive for the proposed food.

Work-related accommodation

The address of the hotel says it all. It is on the edge of the highway that is borrowed day and night to enter/exit Beirut. Ultra spacious, clean room as well as bathroom but would require a relocation. This hotel must have been good a few years ago.

Noisy and outdated

The hotel is a good hotel, clean and with rooms quite spacious and in line with the level of the hotel. Negative has a very noisy location, located on the highway that runs through the city and where the noise of traffic disturbs greatly (in Beirut everyone is constantly ringing the horn...). If you have to get out of the city by car going north, you are already well positioned. On the ground floor the hotel has a restaurant (Le Cigalon) where breakfast is also served, which offers excellent food both in the morning and lunch/dinner.
