I’m travelling for2 years, and it was my favorite place. We wanted to stay for only one night at the beginning, finally we extend for 4 nights. Is not far away from Maseru but enough for enjoy the beautiful landscape. Mark and Mary are really amazing ! So nice, helpful and honest
They are doing the best for the guests. The room is really good, so clean, and the staff do the most as possible. Everybody take care of you in this place. 
About the food.... oh my good .... 
They can do a perfect pizza or pasta like in Italia !!! Amazing for the local food as well. I already miss this food . Of course I will come back on this place one day. For love for lesotho and for this place. Mark organized for us a horse riding with Francis on the mountain ! He was really nice guys. We visiting village, try local honey, spend time with child, run with the horses on the beautiful top of mountain. 
Everything for a good price. This lodge can be appeciate for all age, backpacker or travelers.

Amazing !

the place is very peaceful and the staff is super friendly.
the rooms are ok, no fridges and no safe inside too. the electricity is a problem as it goes of now and then but its a great place if you want a peace of mind. Management needs to invest in fridges in the rooms, ice machine in the premises as we struggled with our drinks when we were there and a bigger kitchen too. we were treated like royalty indeed but the owners needs to invest to attract more clients.

Lovely view

An intoxicating and beguiling setting. This was more than a stopover for us - we based our entire 17 day trip to Lesotho at the lodge. We sought serenity and this place delivered! Our beautiful rondavel was a cool and comfortable retreat from the late summer heat. We both had the best nights sleep we’d ever experienced. Food rustic but lovingly prepared (try the pizza!). The couple running the site (the lovely Mary and the happy go lucky Mark) have a low key presence but are always on hand for whatever you might need. Highly recommended - next trip already planned.

If you’re in the Mountain Kingdom - stay here!!

After a long day of driving we arrived at Maluti. The staff was very friendly and helpfully by checking in.  
In the morning we got a message from the owner were he asked if we wanted some dinner. This was our best meal in days.  Awesome curry with chicken, rice, bread and THE best fried vegetables ever. 

The room was great, there was a bath (perfect because of wintertime), heater, coffee and a good bed. 
In the morning we drove all the way up to Semonkong and after the waterfall we decided to get back and drink some coffee at Maluti. After a lot of tips for the rest of our trip we said goodbye.

We would go back again!(and again)

Beautiful stay

Mark and his team are great at taking care of guests. I became really sick and Mark took me to the hospital. When I left the hospital, I returned to Maluti and I'm glad I did. The food cooked by Mark is very delicious and you are able to order pretty much what you want. The room and bed are very comfortable and the location is ideal to explore the Kingdom of Lesotho. Highly recommend staying here.

Excellent Place in the Kingdom of Lesotho

I stayed in Maluti Stay with two friends during May 2019 and it was great. This peaceful place is well located close to the waterfall, local villages and Maseru. The hostes Mark and Mary are wonderful. They are definitely here for taking care of their guests.
The food (cooked by thelselves) at this place is delicious and they can adapt it to your diet and tastes (vegetarian, not spicy, etc,...).
They know a lot of things about Lesotho.
Horse riding trekking can also be organized according your wishes. 
About the room. We had one comfy room each with private toilet and bathroom. The room is also perfectly daily cleaned.
A good laundry service is also available there. 


The place to be in Lesotho

Comfortable rooms, lovely food and surrounded by nature. All made for a wonderful few days at Maluti Stay Lodge. We could not have asked for better hosts than Mark and Mary who went out of their way to make us comfortable. We will be back!
