Yesterday they came back from the Draugiste sanatorium, the healing base is high, the food is good, they lived in the central building, daily cleaning, clean, a cozy building with high ceilings, a library, a fitness room, sauna, jacuzzi, hams, spa procedures, massage therapists Wilm, Ignar golden hands!!! The spa is doing massage, Thai massage therapists can nervously smoke in the side! The corridors are hung with paintings of modern Lithuanian artists! The site does not say that this is a rehabilitation sanatorium, which is suspected to be a very good treatment, but: people with sex need to be sensitive to someone else's boots, people in the sanatorium have a massage, with a little... Who needs a special recipe in the backyard!

I recommend a hotel for a very strong four!

I used to live in a villa called Colonada. It was very clean, cleaning every day, changing the towels every day. I liked the water and the classic massage so much, it was easy to change it. I really liked the food, it was tasty, it was a great choice. I liked the coffee machine, sorry for breakfast only. The schedule of the procedures was a little unworked, sometimes I got the overlays, I had to leave early with one to get to another, not less important.

I'm happy with it.

On the recommendation of my friends, I decided to visit this resort town, especially since I had to be there before. On the Internet I picked up the Draugiste sanatorium (commercially - 365 euros a week, with 3 meals and a full set of procedures. In the sanatorium I had to walk (15-20 minutes) The road was suggested, yes and a walk, after 1.5 hours of sitting in the bus Vilnius-Druskininkai still needed a necessary one.

The staff in the sanatorium is educated, as in the best offices in the world, they speak in 2 languages - Russian and Lithuanian, very friendly, underwater massage and dry massage are part of the cost of living, in Latvia these are paid services.

Full of excitement

I want to emphasize immediately that this is a sanatorium, and it is designed primarily for sick people, for rehabilitation and treatment. Rest is best in hotels, which in Druskininkai have a great variety of tastes and wallets. And all SPA procedures can be done in the main hospital of the city. A small town and a shop from any point easily and quickly get to the hospital. And here all patients are under constant supervision of nurses and doctors, including at night.

Comfortable treatment

When we arrived on 24/12/2015, we had our first impression at the home of the elderly! We were 4 adults of middle age, 2 children and a breastfeeding baby. I asked for the armor directly, I think it was a big scam that the administration did not warn us that they had a contingent of people 60 and older, besides the patients on wheelchairs and after severe diseases called REA - patients.

SHOCK is a sanatorium for the elderly and the seriously ill, not for rest.

I was very happy to visit the wonderful historic site at the DRAUGYSTES sanatorium. Everything was great.

Treatment and Rest

I have back problems and spent 3 weeks in sanatorium Draugiste in April-May, 2011.  I stayed in Villa Vingus, which is about 300 meters from the main building. My room had a great view on the Neman river, but was very small, even by European standards. In the bathroom they had shower, toilet and bide, but no shower curtain! There was not too much variety of food, but the food was tasty and sufficient for me. The food was rather Lithuanian and Russian than international style, so prepare yourself. Few staff members speak fluent English-most of the patients are Lithuanians and Russian speakers. I had 4-5 medical procedures daily: some of staff tried very hard, some just didn't care. Main building has a small swimming pool, Turkish bath and sauna.  There is not too much to do in the sanatorium after you are done with medical procedures. What really irritated me was that even though most people spoke fluent Russian, which I speak, all the advertisements and minimal entertainment they had was in Lithuanian only. The sanatorium is located in the center of Druskeninkai and there is no need for transportation, unless you are very elderly or disabled. Druskeninkai, itself is a small and quiet town 2 hours by bus from Vilnius.  If you go there, visit museum of Soviet time sculptures located on the outskirts of Druskeninkai.  Overall, despite quite mixed feelings about this sanatorium I still consider it a good value for the money I spent- 51 euro per day for stay, full pansion and treatment.

We spent a week in this place. It is a Hotel, spa. and rehabilitation center
From the outside a grand building, with a swimming pool, but the rooms are so small that a couple feels cramped inside.
At 34 degrees C  no A/C and  they do not give even a fan.
for the indoors pool we were asked to pay extra money.
The food served is not tasty or satisfying, the amount is not enough.
We paid 98 euro p/n.

It's so disappointing and the rooms are so poor that I find  it important to warn others.
They promise internet in every room- there is none.
there is no free Internet  enywhere in this place and in all Druskininkai it's imposible to get the "zebra" card for wi fi.
 Druskininkai  itself is a  small and preetty town .
