Just happened to stop here for the night on our way to Klaipeda.  What a bit of luck!  We arrived late evening and were greeted with friendly staff who accommodated our late arrival.  Our dinner started with the most delicious Lithuanian fried bread with  cheese sauce. We followed the waitress’s recommendations for dinner and were very pleased.  Our accommodations were excellent.  Our rooms were very done in the old Lithuanian style and were clean and comfortable.  Breakfast was very good with lots of good food on our plates.  The owner of the hotel greeted us and shared his amazing story with us.  A very interesting place. It was quiet with lots of fresh air, old-time farm instruments on display, very friendly people and the price was right.  Oh, and loved their own honey.  We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

went for a meal but when we saw prices decided just to have coffee and snacks and eat somewhere else. expensive for a place in the middle of nowhere.Nice surroundings but Lithuania full
of similar places.Friendly service.Nothing really for vegans or vegetarians on the menu.

Overpriced

Horrible customer service,we was waited 2 hours for our food,no ones didn't come to  tell us what was going on with our order and what we need to wait so long. Staff was very rude even not apologies what we needed to wait so long. Food for that price not worth. Never again would be back in this place

We were delighted to find this place by accident on a visit to Rambyno Kalnas. We were looking for a place for a stop and a coffee and weren’t disappointed. We had some of the 2 freshly made cakes and 2 drinks, all for under 10 euro. 

It’s an idyllic setting, greenery, pond, old hall with beautiful fittings. Toys indoors and swings outdoors to entertain young kids. 

Would recommend to anyone visiting the area 

Great find for a quick visit 

Location setting is beautiful. Hotel building is over 100 years old but is renovated to rustic charm. Location is surrounded by forest. A couple of km from nearest store and also not too far from the Nemunas river. Arriving by car is most convenient. Plenty of places to visit by bicycle. Hosts very welcoming and friendly. Restaurant and bar onsite. Great location for couples and families. Will definitely stay again someday.

Old Prussian renovated hotel in nature

Senasis Rambynas is slightly off the beaten path, as it's a few kilometers away from a small town.  It sits in the woods with a large grass area leading down to one large and one small pond.  Watch the bright green frogs hop and swim and the birds land in the water.  The restaurant on the property is also excellent.  The owners are also bee keepers, and the honey is the best you'll ever taste.  My husband and I took a car tour of Lithuania, and this was our favorite place to stay.

Gorgeous setting, friendly owners, charming room

Very good price and quality range. Pet friendly. Nice and big area, a lot of outside place for kids and adults to play-volleyball, other ball games. Friendly owners, will get up to make breakfast even when the restaurant is closed. Close to Bitenai, Rambynas.

Pet friendly

The food listed in menu was described nice, but what we got i the plates was a bit disappointing. Cooked too long, too many sauces, too dry meat and so on. Salmon carpaccio was, i think, even still frozen at the time being in a plate. The only good thing which is difficult to make bad was schnitzel:)
But from the other side probably 50 kms arround this spot all the other places are even worse, so Senasis Rambynas is not so bad if you are very hungry arround here:)

Stopped by to have a dinner

It was great experience to stay in this place. Food was 10+! 
Rooms are amazing, decorated with antique furniture. Interior and exterior is great, a lot of nice places to look around. Room, breakfast, restaurant, catering, cleanness, owners - everything was perfect! We really come back here again!

Amazing place and food!

I stayed here one night in a bike trip across Europe and found the owner to be very friendly, the room quite comfortable and dinner at the restaurant delicious. It is a small place with a friendly but small staff.  Free wifi, nice showers, clean sheets, all in a neat old historic building.
