Meguva Resort Hotel

Recently spent 5 nights at the meguva resort and had a fantastic time. Lodges are very spacious and comfy, grounds are very lovely and we enjoyed the forest trails very much. Breakfast was plentiful (little choice for a vegan, but there was little for a vegan in lithuania in general :-p) The site is about a 10-15 minute drive into Palanga, which was fine for us as we visited lots of different places during our stay so didn't need or wish to be in the centre of that town. Couple of teeny gripes; 1) Kitchenette facilites need to be expanded as there was very little (putting a chopping board, sharp knife, bowls, mugs and coffee / tea maker in each accomodation would be gratefully received in my opinion!) 2) appparently our room rate only allowed us access to the pool between 8am and 11am, so we never got to go and the fee to go in after those houra seemed disproportionate to other charges 3) the jacuzzi hire was very expensive 4) the restaurant closed very early (I think this could be because we were there at the end of the season) we tried twice and then on the third time were succesfull at eating there, and... the food was delicious! These points are only meant as constructive feedback and wouldn't detract me from recommending this to anyone to stay. It is an absolutely perfect setting, I think its a new venture, and is still establshing itself; we will definately return in the near future and it will be great to see it in full swing.
