The lift in the building isn't working and the hostel is on the 5th floor. (despite the property description stating that there is an elevator).
Check in was a very strange experience. It took three of them to chekc us in, during which one of them was groping another.
One of the girls checking us in got very nasty as the guy told me how much the room was and I handed him my card and she snapped my card from me. 
The cost of the room was €4 more than when booked due to city tax and this was not explained to us despite the confusion, the people at the desk just stared at us and then proceeded to be bitchy. 
All the rooms in the hostel are located off the common area which is noisy. The rooms are not sound proof so you can hear everything.
There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms
Two of the four showers were out of order. 
Overall, a very poor experience and one of the worst hostels I've ever stayed in. Rude staff and poor facilities.

Poor hostel

Stayed for 3 nights and generally I enjoyed my stay. The staff were mixed, some were friendly others were blunt and had poor communication skills (I wanted to switch from top bunk to bottom and one member of staff told me the room was fully booked whereas another said a different bed was free that I could sleep in). The 8-bed dorm got unbearably hot during the day even with a fan running. It was only mid-may and I was sweltering at night. However, pretty decent location with shops, supermarket and cafes very nearby and I feel this hostel is good value for money.

Not perfect but not awful

I don't really stay at hostels so this time I was a bit nervous, but the place turned out to be very cozy, room was clean and heater was good, they have good kitchenware and you can cook and eat there, the stuff were really friendly we had such a good time communicating with stuff and other guests, I really recommend this place in Vilnius, I wish I was back soon
P.s only thing: Elevator will creep you out but it's okay 

Felt like at home

Interesting loft design and nice common area in a fantastic location. The staff were friendly and accommodating. 
The rooms were awful. The beds were planks of wood nailed together with a thin piece of foam serving as a mattress. There was no light next to the bed and the temperature was never quite right. I hate writing bad reviews but this place has a really bad rooms and lots of room for improvement.

Meh!

fabrika hostel is a cool industrial style hostel with plenty of high ceiling and enough room for you to feel that you have your own space. i stayed here for 5 days which is more than most people would in the city as travellers only spend a few days here so i had a good opportunity to get into the rhythm of the hostel. its located on one of the main streets in vilnius i couldn't think of a better location just of the main road so its quite in the night time you have plently of bars, cafes and restaurants with 1 min walk. i stayed in both a dorm and a private room they have very good double rooms. the showers and bathrooms are all individual so you get your privacy in the morning. the atmosphere of the place was calm and easy going, wifi is super fast here and the staff are always happy to help with all your needs. all in all this is one of the best hostels that i have stayed in. Thanks to the team for the great stay...
