Before the pandemic we often went to this restaurant, always a big pleasure. Now we do the take away, from the menu or the lunch menu. Wonderful food, big portions, friendly service. We had again take away today, amazing how constantly good this restaurant is. Looking for a traditional excellent Luxembourgish Restaurant in the Clervaux area, this is it. Real good price/quality value.

Third year now that we have had our "Seniors" Club annual Game dinner here and once again a superb meal and a lovely day. The restaurant staff, friendly service with a wonderful panoramic view while we ate made for a perfect day. We can't comment on the hotel but if it compares at all with our experience of the restaurant it should be well worth checking out if you are in or travelling through this part of Northern Luxembourg.

We stopped on way from Luxembourg to Germany. Fillet steak was excellent and kids menus was fresh. The waiter was brilliant and ensured we were well looked after.. we would go back on our next visit. Thanks 

Beautiful Restaurant 

Once again our "Seniors" Club organised our yearly Game Dinner at this lovely hotel/restaurant and once again we weren't disappointed. Excellent food and service and wonderful panoramic views from the restaurant, this year the weather was better so we could really appreciate the surroundings.
If you are ever in this area of Luxembourg make sure to give them a visit.

Annual game Dinner

This was an annual "Game" dinner with our "Seniors" Club. The menu, which was fixed was excellent. Three courses, the main being Venison, Wild Boar gulasch with a choice of potatoes, spatzel  (German style pasta) and salad. Followed by a lavish buffet of deserts and coffee to finish. Excellent service with helpful and friendly staff. The view from the restaurants panoramic windows was stunning and would have been perfect had the weather been more favourable. Definitely a place to visit for a meal on a sunny Summers day!

Up North in the "Éisleck" you'll find this family run restaurant serving good food and drinks for an excellent price/quality ratio.

Decoration is "classic" as well as the cuisine. Recommend "Schnitzel, rognons de veau and cuisses de grenouilles". Tasty and well spiced. Huge servings.

Nice panoramic view of the country side. Ask for a "window table".

Traditional Luxembourgish Cuisine bourgeoise 👍

In the North of Luxembourg (Lëtzebuerg) you find this wellknown family run hotel&restaurant (close to Clervaux, Marnach, Weiswampach...).

Plenty of free parking.
Panoramic view over the country side.

Traditional, old fashion style ambience and cuisine (cuisine bourgeoise).

Don't come here if you are on a diet or overconcerned with "animal rights"!
Plenty of delicious and tasty dishes which are difficult to find nowadays for example frog legs in butter&garlic sauce (cuisses de grenouilles au beurre à l'ail, Froschschenkel) 🐸. Great choice of tender meat served with excellent sauces and side dishes (even horse meat, filet de cheval à la provençale...).🐴🐮🐷🐑
Large choice of different salads.
Also fish like trout with almonds (truite aux amandes, Forelle mit Mandelbutter).

Servings are huge.

Sweet temptations to finish are to be recommended 🍰🍨. Special mention for the blackcurrant sherbet!

At Hotel Reiff I stayed for a night a couple of weeks ago. The hotel has a panoramic view over the hills and valleys of beautiful northern Luxemburg as well as the German Eifel. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet (see photos). The breakfast was okay. Also the personnel is nice and helpful. For the price of 47,00 EUR per room (single occupancy) for one night I would stay here again.

Nice small hotel with a panoramic view

The room was very spacious and the bathroom was larger than normal for hotels in Europe. While there was no elevator, the desk clerk immediately took my bag to my room. There was a flat screen TV in the room and wifi access. The bed was quite comfortable and had a very good view. There was a very wide breakfast selection including an offer to cook an egg. 

The restaurant was great. The menu was varied with many selections. The prices were quite reasonable. The main course, wine and desert came to about 24 Euros.
The view from the restaurant is spectacular.

The hotel is located in the middle of the area where the Germans advanced into Luxembourg on the first day of the Battle of the Bulge.

I would definitely stay here again.
