I stayed one night in the Beau Sejour Hotel. Reception was friendly. Room had a nice bed, bath room was a bit small (especially the sink), but clean. Hotel is located in the city centre, so when walking out restaurants are easy to reach.

but in the restaurant , and this was a very nice experience , even with a group of 28 friends, the food and the drinks where excellent and at moderate prices , we had scampis with rice , and a desert called " colonel " , soft ice with vodka

Clean room and bathroom, friendly staff, good beds, nice breakfast, restaurant inside, paid parking at 100 meters.
The bath room was a bit worn down and the room style is a bit outdated. The TV is rather small and far away from the bed.
My room at the street side was noisy due to traffic in the morning but at night there was almost no traffic.
The hotel is in the small city centre with sufficient restaurant choices all at walking distance.
Pricing is in balance with offered value.

Good balance

We had friends from the UK staying at a campsite in Diekirch for the weekend. There was a music festival taking place in the town centre and it was very loud and busy so, knowing Diekirch I suugested we looked just a bit further away along the main street. It was also quite crowded but being a bit late (20.45) we managed to find a table free on the terrace. Two tables were put together for us and we were served with our apperatifs quickly and given time to browse the extensive menu. The food we chose was excellent and the service to match with the young Portuguese waitress very keen to practice her, very good English, on our friends. It was quite entertaining as we spoke to her and the proprietor in other languages at the same time. All in all an excellent  Saturday evening and had our friends wife not felt a little unwell due to the heat we would have returned for another helping on Sunday evening. We will at some time definitely be visting the Beau Sejour restaurant again.

At the restaurant for dinner

I spent 4-night there, the hotel is pretty good even my room had a strange thing...a micro-lavatory! Not really fun at all.
By the way everything was good and clean, the restaurant really good. No laundry service available, no parking (very close a public one with payment fee from 08:00 to 18:00, then it’s free of charge.
Suggested...but be careful the lavatory!

A week for business trip

We stayed at this hotel for one night. Check-in was very quick and efficient. The room
was a nice size and the beds comfortable and clean. Bathroom was a good size
with a tub and shower. We did not try the restaurant
