Arriving at Aurora Lodge on Ile Aux Nattes with the pirogue is a dream – the water is so clear and beautiful, the nature stunning and everything slows down a little. Aurora Lodge is beautiful  – the bungalows are decorated with care and esthetics. It feels authentic and cosy. The lodge area – garden and beach – is well taken care of without loosing the feel of island nature – again authentic vibe. The staff are incredible helpful, attentive and seviceminded – and most speak English. The restaurant is really great – creative menu with many small dishes (tapas style), the Zukini carpaccio and the calamari is unforgettable! This place was perfect for me, as you can unwind completely, rest up on the beaches, get out of your head on walks throughout the island, enjoy the wild nature – or do all the activities and adventures in the area. Aurora Lodge offers it all. I did a great mix of it all and had an experience of a lifetime. I absolutely recommend a stay there – and look forward to coming back. A place you never want to leave....

A beautiful place on a tropical island

Not only has Aurora Logde got fantastic beaches but also amazing and well working staff.

We were greated everyday with smiles and laughter and the staff did their best to accommodate our every wishes. 

The rooms were very clean  and well looked after with beautiful beach views. 

After having had bad food on the previous places we stayed, the food there was a welcome sight and very tasty. We finally enjoyed every aspect of our holidays.

This place is definitely recommended to all people visiting isle aux Natte. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Aurora lodge is as close to Bounty commercials from the 1980s as I have ever seen. Ile aux Nattes is an amazing place that can only be recommended. The lodge is well-run with good cleanliness. It is easiest to reach by boat, but it is also possible to walk across the island.

A small paradise on the beautiful island ile aux Nattes 🏝️🛶 Amazing atmosphere where you really get relax. The host Karen and her team made our stay memorable and the chef made some delicious food 😋😋
Walking trips around the island was amazing with super friendly and welcoming local people and astonishing beaches for relaxing and snorkeling.

Unique lodge on an amazing island

This is a beautiful French-run accommodation with located right on the beach front. You can canoe around the island or walk inland (no motor vehicles) to the many villages and low-key restaurants. It's really a little piece of heaven.

Beach Paradise

Great and sympathy Lodge at Iles aux nattes. The room was faboulous with a medium price. We dont know why local people is not more seen on this location. We really recommend this place if you want a relaximg and calm place. The room is excelent for an adventurous people. 

Honey moon

Perfect setting for a long and never ending chilling, eating and even live music. 
The device is a really lovely place to sit and their fish in sauce coco is simple mouth watering. Definite must dine for one of those long relaxing afternoons.

Great food fantastic setting

No review can do this place justice.  Pristine beaches,   totally untouched,   lovely rooms ( I can live without hot water) ,  relaxing massages,   a visiting lemur,  resident tortoises,   friendly staff,  whale watching,  cooking lessons,  kayaks and shallow crystal clear water right by your door.   I didn't want to leave. 

Pure paradise

Quiet and peaceful and beautiful. Is one of the furthest hotels/lodges from the point (link with Saint Marie). Rooms are very dark but understandable with limited generator electricity supply. Bathroom shutters open up to a beautiful view of the forest. Small safe in the room. Water was hot in the room shower,despite being advised by staff to use the communal bathrooms for hot water. Communal bathroom isn't an issue as there are only a few guests at a time.
Staff are all very friendly. Not a party venue,which suited us just fine! Relaxation is what you will find. Stunning view from rooms and restaurant.
