The hotel is smack in the middle of Georgetown's food galore.

All within walking distance such as Padang Kota, Lebuh Chulia, Komtar and Little India. 

The hotel was previously a council flat. Sure brings a lot of memories of the olden days if you have ever been inside a govt type apartment houses.

This is a hidden gem.

Superb location

Basic walk up apartment/hotel. 
Walking distance to Greorgetown Unesco Heritage Zone, street arts, Little India and eateries.
Limited parking space. 
Very convenient. Bus stop right in front of the premise.

Basic hotel, great location!

This is the type of hotel you want to stay if you travel with big family or group but on tight budget as they provide really cheap 3 bedrooms basic apartment unit. 1 AC at master bedroom & only 1 bathroom(separate shower / toilet) provided though. The unit cleanliness is good but the bed & pillow are average.

It's near to major attraction in Georgetown by walking distance.

Some info to be noted:
- It's 3 story hotel WITHOUT lift. Request for the lower floor if possible or else you have to climb all the way to the top (imagine me with 2 kids & 1 baby).
- Towels only be provided on deposit basis RM20 each.
- There are limited 'hygiene' parking space as it full of cat's poops.

Good for big family / group with tight budget in Georgetown

Stayed here during the weekend for 1 night. Apartment Suite. 

1. The staff are being rude and not friendly. One who was answering for my call to tell that we will be late than the timing I mentioned during booking. Just to update them. Their reply was a bit rude and they hung up before i finished talking. The other one is the person who was handling my check in. Too busy with his phone. And ignoring my questions.
2. The room are not as per expected. The description mentioning towels provided. But no towels provided during our stay. So, you better bring your own.
3. Most of the bed sheet have stain. Wonder if they even changed it since previous guest.
4. The bathroom is OK. Only a bit small. Separated for bath and toilet. Only thing is there are no slipper for the toilet. And its quite slippery. So watch your step. Plus the area outside the bathroom & toilet can easily get wet from the bathrooms splashes (as the door is not full covered). Better if there is floor mat to wipe the splashes.
5. Plug points in the living and one of the bedrooms does not function.
6. Parking space is limited. And not being managed properly. Had hard time to find one.

However, the hotel location is good. In Town Center and only walking distance to the tourist attractions and eateries.

Strategic Location but...

Very basic and absolutely no frills and the shower needed cleaning but for 180RM a night and 5 beds in 3 bedrooms it's cheap. The only other positive and it is a big one, the location is perfect for everything in Georgetown, you can walk everywhere. At the end of the day it's just a place to sleep so I would go back 

You get what you pay for

If you are looking for a big place then this is the place for you BUT I wouldn’t say it is value for money. Pictures online are deceiving. The place is in dire need of refurbishment and is extremely run down. There is even a few graves in front of the hotel. Only one room in the house has air conditioning and Penang weather was HOT! Bathrooms and toilet were small, tight and moldy. 
The bedsheets were a whole another level of sad & disgusting. There were STAINS on the sheets! 
Luckily we were in Penang only for a night. Real hell!
