The room was more than what I expected for a budget hotel. The bed was just heaven, could sleep on it the whole night and not wake up after. The TV could work though limited channels, and the staff were very friendly.

Surprisingly comfortable

This place has no real problems and I think it is very good value.  The rooms were a little dated but essentially well kept and clean.  The shower did not appear to generate hot water but that may have been me not understanding how to operate it.  The real issue I had was the proximity to the mosque and the muezzin's words over a very loud loudspeaker apparently outside of my window.  I did not appreciate this. Suggest if you are muslim then stay here as it is close to the mosque, but if you want a good night's sleep then this probably shd not be your first choice. Two very beautiful young women on the reception - so that was a bonus! It's a good location for central old town Ipoh.  Very fast wifi.

"Budget Hotel" speaks itself.
The prices for a single small room start at 75 ringgits. The small room is really small, but relatively clean. The aircon is working well, and there is a flat screen TV.
There are no elevetors, so if your room is on the third floor, there is quite a lot of climbing the stairs involved. 
You can buy drinks and basic hygiene products at the reception.

One Stop Hotel is located right next to the train station (within approximately 2 minutes walking distance), and close to the Old Town (few minutes walking distance).

One Stop Budget Hotel is a right place for a budget tourist or somebody that needs to catch a train to Kuala Lumpur next day in the morning.

I'm absolutely disgusted to describe to you this "hotel"!! 
Let me start saying that I booked it cause the reviews were good. It's a lie!! There is nothing good in this place! 
1st is the hygene 
The first  room given to us had PERIOD blood spots on the bed sheets  AND ON THE WALLS WITH FINGERS PRINTS!!!  
The Second room had bugs walking in the bed and hair between pillows,
The Third room had bed sheets with all possible different colour of spots... Who know what the hell  it was! 
( we arrived at the hotel late at night, this is  the reason why we checked all 3 rooms before) 
We were  so Disgusted by the rooms that we quickly asked  for a refund! Their response was " well, you get what you paid for" I paid  $22  per night! I don't think this is too little money for requesting a clean room! 
Plus, forget about wifi, it's not existing.
Location? Yeah good. But definitely not enough! 


PERIOD BLOOD ON THE WALLS!! 

This place is very nice. Room was a good size for 2 adults and 2 kids. Very close to all you need. Room was comfortable , bathroom was good. Staff helped us with arranging a taxi whenever we needed one. They made sure we were charged a good price. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and the train station
