It is a very good and friendly place for backpackers, very friendly staff. It is in the central of the city, all the eatery and banks in a walking distance. 
It is about 15 minutes walk to the jetty where can get boats to the islands surrounding.

Nice place!

Nice private room, great staff. Common room is airy and welcoming. Met some Interesting characters here! The breakfast was simple but everything was clean and they provided free water refills. 

Shower room was OK, would have been nice if there was some soap available by the sinks, but otherwise it was fine. 

My private room had a window and Aircon. Slept well, with very little roadside noise u til the morning.

Nice hostel!

Comfortably the best hostel we used in KK with lovely, friendly staff and a big common space where breakfast was served. Rooms were basic but comfortable though our air con dripped. Showers a bit hit and miss but kept clean. Weekend night market outside and perfect location for eating and drinking.

Very pleasant

Breakfast is pretty good, it even comes with fruits like papaya :) Location is in the city centre, at the entrance of gaya street so you can enjoy the night weekend market party! Room is big and clean. Staff is helpful. Shared bathroom is acceptable.

Lovely location and spacious common area

Very easy going hostel with lovely staff in a v central location. There are lots of plants and a really quiet chill out room for people to get on with work or whatever they need to do. Have come back three times! Xx 

Lush hostel!

Amazing staff so friendly fun and welcoming, free breakfast and 10/10 clean comfy rooms. I had been volunteering at adrecc project so Jeffery the owner organised for me to do a marine sea life mural in room 104 which was super fun!

Would recommend this place as it’s so close to everything and all round good vibes! 

Best hostel in KK

We stayed here so many times as we were volunteering at ADRECC, a conservation organisation on nearby Dinawan island. This is their sister hostel! We love all the anti shark fin soup posters and eco friendly reminders. Also FREE filtered water dispenser, free breakfast, lovely staff and all the plants they have in the place! It’s perfectly central and be sure to check out the huge market that goes on Saturday night and Sunday on the street below. Also check out the (not being biased but it’s amazing 😉) underwater mural my partner did in one of the private rooms! Thank you guys x

Clean, good service, cheap and a very nice location combine into one great option when you are visiting KK and looking not to spend too much. Breakfast is simple but does the job. Communal area nice and a lot of good food options nearby. Pier is 10min walk if you are unlucky with the lights and walking slow. Also possible to book tours in-house at what I found to be very correct rates.

Great Value Guesthouse in KK

We stayed here twice each time we were in KK. The hostel has a nice communal area and was very clean, simple and good for a few nights. Short drive from the airport and close to the pier/lots of restaurants and shopping malls. The breakfast is very simple - toast and fruit but tea and coffee and water refills are free all day.

Good value hostel in a central location

Came here with a friend after a few days of semi-rough Borneo travel and it's a fine place to rest up. Huge, airy common area; comfortable rooms with frosty aircon; excellent breakfast and reasonably priced (for Malaysia) beer in the fridge. Everything is clean and it's good value for money. Weekend food market (open every day during Ramadan) and various restaurants right outside. Would love to stay longer.
