Staff is very friedly a try to help you with all of you need. Room and bathroom is typical for this area...... if you need acomadation only for sleep thats is perfect. ( perfect balcony for some beers ;-) ) shop and restaurant are near from there. 50 myr per night per couple

5 the visit to this hostel, and I stay up to 2 months at a time! Best value, 100 yards from KFC, supermarket, pizza hut plus less than 50 yards from many local cafes all offering fantastic food at cheap prices
Sheila the owner is really nice and helpful and overall just a great place,price, location, cleanliness and friendliness!

The location of the hotel was really good. But, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to travelers traveling there. The WORST part….I am not going to go into more detail, but I had bed bugs crawling all over the bed and every corner of the room within the first hour of my afternoon nap. The bed bugs infested my luggage, cloths and it was horrifying! 

The room was dirty, broken curtain and old pillow with stains on it. Low water pressure too! I spent a whole night awake, watching Korean drama on a small chair in the room while killing those bugs crawling around me. Checked out and left hotel before 6am. I definitely won’t come back to this terrible hotel again.

WORST hotel I have ever stayed

I just want to appreciate the kindness of the staffs in Asia adventure lodge. Cy, Sem, and Sheila are great! Sheila can also speak fluent Filipino (it's a plus. Haha) The location of the hotel are very near to everywhere (malls, ferry terminal, restaurants, banks, hotels, bars **name it!!**) I will recommend this hotel to my friends here in Manila. Terima Kasih, Asia Adventure Lodge!! ✌

Great Staffs!

Cheap hostel in the heart of Kota Kinabalu.
Shared bathroom, not cleaned all the time. We spent there 2 nights, haven't see breakfast, although it was including in the price. 
Room was small, tanks to the AC we were able to sleep, because the first floor was over-heated by sun.
Sheila, the receptionist spoke fluently english and she helped us to book trip to Mantanani island.

Backpackers friendly

Apart from the windowless rooms, the thing that hits the most is the SUDICIUM that permeates the structure. The two hot showers are in the same sanitary room, so when you need the toilet you have to get rain boots to enter because of the watering caused by the showers, imagine the toilet paper is all wet....when there is the paper!!!There is only one laundry room that is very, very rusty and dirty.
