The last time I came to this hotel was last year during the CNy break and the experience wasn't so pleasant. This year's CNY, my friends and I stayed at the triple room and I was so happy to say that the hotel has improved a lot. The room was clean and spacious. I will definitely stay here again as the location is superb.

The hotel has improved

I booked a family room during the recent CNY. I expectation wasn't that high when it comes to hotels in Jerteh as I am originally from there. But since this is the closest hotel to my uncle's place, I decided to book the room as it is just walking distance to my uncle's place. In terms of location to Jerteh town I would say this hotel is great. It is just walking distance to many eating areas, shops, market and public transport. But when it comes to the room, it was below average. The floor was dusty and you can find hairs on the floor and a few strains on the bed too. The bathroom was not that bad though. Quite clean but don't expect to have a dry floor as the shower place is in between the sink and toilet bowl. But the worse part for me is the fact that I found out that my mattress wasn't covered fully with the bed sheet. The bottom part of the mattress was left bare. I went down to the front office to complain but the guy just took it lightly and said perhaps housekeeping didn't have enough bed sheet. So I asked for an extra bed sheet from him and covered the bottom part myself. The next day, the housekeeping came to clean the room and do up the bed and to my surprise that night I found out my mattress wasn't covered fully again and again I went down and told the same guy the same thing. He then said he will put my complain in the system this time and will ensure that my mattress is fully covered on my final night. And yes finally, on my third and final night my mattress was fully covered by the bed sheet.
