Actually my review was 4.5 stars
I booked a twin peppermint room with 3 days 2 nights
I start my bad review that need to improve first

1) The room
The room is so nice and clean. I love the style. 
Wish if there more clothes bar inside the room.
My room was located beside the family with small children. They are so loud and i can heard they shout and play from my room. You should considered to accommodate the room based on  grouping. My friend and i couldn’t  get rest on evening as they are so loud. 
While early morning around 4am, the dog barking continuously infront of my room and i was woke up by that sound. 

2) Star gazing and karaoke 
You should gave notice regarding availability the star gazing and karaoke. I came to the lobby two nights but no star gazing. No information. Luckily the staff at the bar Indian looking, he helped me to reconfirm back and gave us to play pool as a free.

Good review
1) The staff
Friendly and easy to approach. Even i called at 4am regarding the dog barking, she still pickup the phone and me to solve the matter. They gave us free fruits and free pool game

2)Buggy
Easy to call and fast

3)Activities
Full of nature activities from hot spring , hydrogen spa and riverside.. it was so fun.

4) The food
Varieties of food was prepared in a buffet. Delicious and served in healthy way. The pumpkin sauce was so delicious. We got to eat 4x per day and always full 😂

5)Spa
The price is reasonable for the first timer. Good experience for me.

6)Places 
A nice resort. Full of ambience and nature. I love this place. The way you construct the building was so beautiful. All pure building and the smooth corner edge was made perfectly in English style.

After all it was a wiser decision to come here. Hope the final 4km route to your resort will become better when i come during next trip. Also the facilities and service become more better.

Worth with your money

Purchased a day package which includes two meals and a complimentary 10 minutes hand massage at the Resort in July 2024.
The Resort is beautifully located 2 hours drive from Damansara, Selangor.  The area was huge with water falls, cabanas, pet farm, plant garden, horse riding and more.  It's definitely worth visiting.  The Spa however, require improvement, it looks not too clean, and the therapists are all non english / bahasa melayu / mandarin speaking, making communication hard, and their grooming was out.  The food however, was mediocre.  One of the employee at the reception called Sham was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and hospitable.  The Resort is worth visiting albeit some improvement required.

Impressive landscape and nature of paradise

Long bumpy dirt road to the resort. The site was filled with construction noise and workers. Lots of excavated land, barely any nature besides the jungle trek. Sound-proofing in the room was bad. Many activities require extra fee to participate. Barely any toiletries provided.

Construction site basically

Came across this resort from social media and decided to drop by here for a day trip. While I have lower my expectations before I come, its surprising to find the place is not bad at all (aside from the 4km access from the main road). Although the resort is not run by hotel operators, many of the staffs are quite attentive and adequately trained to serve. I particularly love the hot spring area and the riverside gazebo. As the place is still undergoing some minor renovation works, I believe it can offer a much better experience to the visitor once its fully completed. The one things that I wish the resort will look into is the separation between workers storage and access. Its weird to have workers walking in n out beside the spa area as they need to pass by the spa to do the washing/collect their tools. 
Again, I would like to emphasize this is not a 4-5 star resort but one have to see it from a domestic perspective to enjoy it.

Sweet place for short getaway

The overall facilities are good such as hotspring and river side.we had one room at peppermint / wild bamboo for rm732 even thought i stayed single,jasmine for rm 968. We all felt the food was very below par especially we paid over 300rm for bft/lunch/dinner/ hightea.for eg lunch menu was buffet of fried chicken ,chicken stew,mix vege,fried fish,watermelon,mix salad .dinner we didnt jave a choice and qas a steamboat/bbq which was a tedious,sweaty affair.the food wasnt on the healthy side n misleading on the website.breakfast was roti mainly n boiled eggs, noodles..food variety was very limited. We paid over 300rm esch for the meal packages.  The hand aroma was a 2 min quick rub..which was just so misleading. I hope the management will.look into this. I tried to talk to the Customer relations on issues but she walked away. The staffs were also earing and taking food at the same time the guests are havign their meals. Staffs should eat at separate venue. There was a group booking and the allocation should  separate the FIT and GIT as there were noisy at dinner. There is a good potential but many issues need to be resolve. No beacon resort staffs were keen to have feedback. We also spent nearly 2000rm at the beacon mart. And we all took massages . We spent money but were disappoineed with the food quality n variety. Toomuch deep fried food. Jasmine is more expensive but no toiletries. Also staffs were only keen to talk at superficial level.there was no resort  manager or resident manager to overall manage or handle the front . The dining area has low ceiling and too hot for thai mookata. Not suitable.  I hope my comment helps the management look into areas to improve.

2d/1n package

Lots of improvement needed. Staffs are polite but they do not know how to serve or provide proper information.  They seem so blur.  Most of the staffs are from Myanmar and they can't speak proper Malay or English.  They need more training.

I am a supporter of Beacon Mart but when I go to a resort, I  do not expect to be swarm with the sales people from the Beacon Mart. They were very pushy .
The resorts need to be clear what is their main objective of this resort, for customer to relax or to push them to buy more items from Beacon Mart.  I thought I went to a MLM convention. The sales team need to be train in a more professional manner. 

Very disappointed with this experience.

Hot Spring and Instagram-able  only.

A great sanctuary not too far ie an hour plus from busy city of Kuala Lumpur. Hidden gem with good development by the operator.

One can experience the staying in a jungle experience, enjoying real SPA river/ stream with cold water, underground hot spring, juggle tracking, ... and other activities.

We rented 2 units of its 4 beds unit, and wnjoyed the good view, good amenities, and cozy rooms. All meals are covered within the package.

It can be different experince depending on individual, but I had enjoyed mybstay very much. Wish to be back again someday. Adios ...

Hidden Gem not far from Kuala Lumpur

The first impression i received from this resort was a bad one.  I had contacted the resort to enquire about a day trip with my family. I had asked for someone to call me back, but no one had the decency to do so. 

Worse, the staff i was communicating with on whats app refused to reveal his or her name when i asked by whats app. I found this rather perplexing.

There was also much confusion as to the payment terms. Earlier, a kind soft spoken lady called Joya had informed me that we need not make any payment until we arrived at the resort as it was a day trip and hence no room bookings required. 

However, the later staff who refused to reveal his or her name insisted i had to pay in full! I explained that we were merely making a day trip with no hotel overnight stay and I also asked her to explain why the hotel was inconsistent with their policy as the earlier staff had told me that we could  pay on the day of arrival as it was only a day trip. 

I even suggested that i could place a deposit but the staff's reply was that they do not collect deposits for a day trip. She then informed me that there was still availability for a day trip and told me to walk in. This response was again absurd as to reach this resort, one has to travel quite a distance on a bumpy potholed road! 

The staff's reply was that the earlier staff did not know the SOP and policy of the hotel. I found this explanation rather absurd. 

Judging by the unprofessionalism of how this resort had handled my intended stay, i decided to give this place a miss. I did not see any hospitality and spared my family an unpleasant trip and opted for another resort instead. 

Utterly disgusted

Beacon Resort near to Ulu Yam set within a tropical jungle, complete with clean hot springs pools , beautiful river with gentle rapids flowing within the resort and a east to moderate jungle trail is definitely worth more than a 2 Star rating . 
The food is excellent, wholesome without any hint of Ajinomoto , much like home cooked tasty food 
Customer service is first class . Went all way out to help my wheel chair bound 90years old mother which made her holiday so memorable for her . Owner was seen serving her guest with her staff at breakfast when we were there .

Had an amazing weekend with them as I stayed in their jasmine A!
We get to experience their natural hot spring, hydrogen spa, and also get to chill by the river.

This close to nature experience was definitely something much needed to relax my mind and body.

If you’re looking for somewhere to relax your mind and soul ( that is close to the nature but 100 percent clean) this is the place to be!
