I stayed here lots of times when it was called the birds nest but under new ownership and a new name it's still the same great place I remember.

Definitely my go-to place in KL for a cool chill place with clean showers and a good kitchen for cooking.

Peaceful relaxing place to escape the city and meet travellers

The staff is nice and there is always someone at the reception, so check in/out is possible at all times. The location is good, very close to Petaling street market, at the heart of Chinatown, and to Pasar Seni station (metro, LRT and free goKL bus​ purple line). 
The guesthouse is old and definitely needs some renovation. The carpet on the floor is not so clean. There are only two not so clean bathrooms for all the guest and they are basically in the common room. Our room had bed bugs so I was covered in bites. I told the staff, who said he'd spray the bed but that's not enough to eradicate the problem. 

Cheap but not so clean

I stayed there for one night. reception was friendly and let me check-in early morning. Room was really hot and bed was so light that was falling down on me trying to climb. There was weird stuff going on in the guesthouse common area. the owner who is a russian lady, was getting ready in front of mirror and doing make up and a worker who seems to be south asian, was beside her, staring and watching, like 20cm further. he was jut following the female owner everywhere with a flirting weird gesture. another worker who seemed to do workout often, was walking around all the time like the rooster checking his chickens with aggressive face and body gesture, like looking for an excuse to begin the fight. wifi was really bad specially at night and not enough power outlets in rooms (just one). rooms are really small and with same price, you can find much better places to stay.

A weired place!

My partner and I stayed at your guesthouse in June.  When we arrived at your Guesthouse we waited about 20min before we were let in and then our welcoming was not very friendly and the guy seemed rather rude and not helpful at all. We waited for our room and when we entered our room it was rather humid and the fan did not work so well. Also our bedding was still wet and there was no blanket. Be prepared to take a shower in a dirty bathroom with little space and when you get out of the shower with your towel around you there are people socializing right outside when you walk out the bathroom and that made us feel rather uncomfortable. There was a kitchen but it all just seemed very dirty so we did not want to use the kitchen and rather ate out and bought fast food. If you are looking for a chilled vibe and not looking for anything comfortable or clean then this is the place for you. Ups to the owner for being friendly.

Cheap but not very comfortable

Stayed there for few days, Very nice peoples there especially the owner (Alen). There have two bathrooms and sometimes need to wait for long time but doesn't matter for us. The prices is acceptable and the place closed to the hotspot (China town, temples, central market......)

If you're on a budget, then this is a cheap place to stay.

The rooms are basic and can be hot and when Natalia noticed we found it really hot, offered us a room with air con. Natalia is really nice.

The toilets/showers are right by the smoking area.
