This is a well located hotel close to KLCC, Bukit Bintang and Petaling Street which is great value for money. Staff and Owner are friendly and very helpful.

Unfortunately reviews on this page are very outdated and no longer reflect the new ownership and state of the hotel and its rooms.

Will stay again if im back in KL.

Friendly hotel and excellent value for money

Hotel Hibiscus City has a great location, close to Pudu station and in walkable distance to both Bukit Bintang and KLCC. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are noisy and some rooms don't have windows.

great location

Stayed here for one night because we were stuck. Room was very small. Walls were filthy and sheets were stained, although I would say they were clean. The bathroom was shared and there were cigarette butts on the shower floors. Walls are paper thin and the place seems to be generally noisy. Another 10-15 Ringgit will get a much better place in KL.

Dirty and noisy...

I suppose in KL you can't get a decent hotel much cheaper than this, and it is a bit pricy for what you get. The hotel and the rooms are okay (I did see one tiny little roach in the bathroom...), but if you need a triple or family room, they don't have windows. In these rooms, the vent in the toilet is out to a small alley, or courtyard, where apparantly people wash themselves. So you get this continuos noise of spilling water, and it does get annoying when you try to sleep.
Double rooms are to the street, so maybe that weird washing noise doesn't come there, but the traffic propably does.
Take earplugs, and use an alarmclock.
The location is nice, it is very close to Chinatown and Little India, and also the Pudu Sentral bus station, from which you can catch the rapid KL trains aswell.

Not bad, but noisy

Gently welcoming staff, price was right for a room with private shower/loo but had to see three rooms before feeling it was good value.
