Prior to heading to Langlawi, my Wife and I enjoyed four nights at the EQ. This is a great hotel, with wonderful staff and a breakfast buffet to remember. The “bistro” restaurant on the ground floor offers a good variety less expensive.mid-range bites which were just the ticket for grabbing something after a long flight and heading off to get some rest. We also enjoyed the sky51 bar on, you guessed it, the 51st floor. This is a must. There are other restaurants at the hotel but we didn’t get to try them other than the breakfast buffet and the a la carte menu in the same restaurant in the evening. Both times the experience was excellent. Whilst not the cheapest of hotels, you get what you pay for. Our room on the 42nd floor had great views of the twin towers, and the layout was superb. The bed was great, with a choice of pillows, and the bathroom very well appointed, with probably the best shower I have ever experienced. The hotel is very well located for KLCC and Bikut Binteng. The staff are magnificent, and can arrange tours etc. Recommend.
