Pay RM193 for this kind of hotel is not worth at all..
A very old hotel with maintenance issues. Stayed for 1 night on 17/2/23 transit from Langkawi to KL. We checked in at night. All staff on duty at night are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the man who served us for check-out is terrible rude and  definitely he is the main reason we will not come again to this hotel.. Management should take serious on customer service issues.

The elevator was extremely small. Feels like entering coffins..
The hotel room requires massive upgrade and refurbishment. 
We use our blanket to  over the mattress bcoz it's smell unpleasant..

Good location and view but management should do something with staff and hotel room. 

Bad attitude of front desk and not worth for money

A very old hotel with maintenance issues.

Stayed for 2 nights on 20-22 June 2022 in a sea-view room. Unfortunately, poor weather so no beautiful sunset views. The hotel and room are overall generally clean. Require massive upgrade and refurbishment. Process since February 2022 and ongoing, but not fast enough. Except for the new hot shower unit and wall-mounted TV (which does not work - Wifi issues), the rest of the room needs to be thrown away and replaced. The hotel’s Samudera Coffee House breakfast buffet spread is generous. But food quality overall is poor. The chef needs to do a better job.

Old Hotel Requiring Massive Upgrade

The staff attempted to charge the tourist tax that has been suspended until 2021. This tax relief was put in place to assist the hospitality industry and yet this establishment decided to try and abuse this. Given that due to the movement control order any visitors will be either Malaysian citizens or people residing in Malaysia this is a particularly naive course of action.  Blatantly trying to rip people off.

The rooms (203 & 205) were filthy.
Everything was falling to pieces.
The TV didn't work.
There was a night market right outside the window that went onto midnight. It was withing the hotel grounds so they cannot deny knowledge of it happening. The "band" had less musical talent than a group of drowning rats. The volume (and particularly bass) were turned up to 11.
The beds were as hard as stone.
Sheets had holes and bloodstains on them, plus several other stains that we did not wish to attempt to identify.
Non-smoking rooms came with ash trays and the heavy stench of smoke.
Adherence to the RMCO SOPs was poor, c.half of staff were not wearing masks when within 1m of each other or guests,
There are two lifts. Only one works, it sounds/feels like it will die at any moment. Looking at the reviews the second lift has not worked in a long time.
Little or no maintenance appears to have been done at this hotel since it was last decorated. This was probably in around 1990. It seemed possible that this was also when rooms 203 and 205 were last cleaned.

Unfit for human habitation.

Quite the worst hotel in SE Asia.

First time here. We were on official working trip. Booking was done for seminar and also accommodation. The hotel is terrible, bad maintenence, facilities are not well kept. Elevator horrible. Room with no hot water, aircond are not well functioning. I dont understand why they cannot maintain it. At least on the cleanliness. They dont pay attention to details. Not up to the standard hotel service. Hospitality is about giving excellent experience to the guests.  Location wise is good, sea view and near to the Jetty to Langkawi Island. But the management failed to deliver the experience.

This hotel is not recommended to my worst enemy! The rooms are dated, smells musty, poorly-maintained with stained sheets and broken/weak furniture amongst others. The bathroom has not hot water shower and the tiles felt slimy/contained insects. The elevator was extremely small, fantastically slow and incredibly dirty. The hotel itself is huge but feels empty everywhere in terms of anything else. The breakfast & sea view are the only moderately bright spots of the stay. Kuala Perlis? Do not stay here. Please go somewhere else. 

Stay away at all costs!

The room is small, furniture and wardrobe are broken and old. Water temperature for shower not stable. Walking corridors not clean. Housekeeping not doing a good job. Breakfast is normal. Lots of car park. Walking distance to restaurants nearby for dinner, not sure if they are open for lunch. Will not go back to this hotel. 

Old , run down hotel

Room is just average. Equipment is old... Small lift (less than 4 person can go in) but I really like the breakfast... even i guess they have less guest on that day but breakfast is good. have many option.

Old Hotel But Good Breakfast

This dilapidated facility should be decommissioned promptly and be put out of it's misery. Check in at your own peril. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful but that does not excuse the sorry state of this hotel. If you don't have your own car, and absolutely require convenient parking, there are other accommodations nearby to consider.

Dilapidated

No hot shower. Aircond blower was noisy, can't sleep well. Just rest my head and neck. Tv signal very poor. Old furniture and wardrobe door is broken. My kids get allergic from the blanket, also have mark on that. Not friendly staff. And total serviced is POOR. I request extra bed but they give me just only mattress. Poor mattress and I need to put a cover by my own. They not prepared well! Luckily I do late check in and early checkout. Limited choose for breakfast and I ask a scramble egg but they can't make it for my kids. Scary and haunted hotel. Will never come again. Feel better if I sleep in the car. 

Very3 bad and POOR SERVICE!

Very quiet hotel due to low peak season for tourist. The room size is decent with basic facilities, although the bathroom's wash basin and doors appeared very rundown. 

We requested for additional bed but they only supplied a mattress at an additional cost of Rm10. 

We were surprised by a nice gesture of free dinner on the day of arrival. 4 of us had a good meal of tomyam and grilled fish. There were rice, ommelete and vegetables which we thought was a hearty meal.
