July is the most busy month for Kg Kuala Tahan. Because it is summer for northern hemisphere, majority of tourist to taman negara are here during this month.

We choose to stay at TRV because all places are fully booked, we have our own transport, we wanted to stay a bit far from the crowd.

As always, the host pn Rosnah makes us feel as though as we are family members. Most of the tourists staying here were from France. May repeat staying in the future. Room comes with breakfast at a reasonable price.

Repeat Stay

My 3rd stay here. Managed by owner. Quick response to any request.
Reasonable rate. Stayed in airconditioned room. Breakfast is part of room rate, local and simple western meal.
Transportation provided to and from jetty to Taman Negara and village of Kuala Tahan. If you prefer to walk, the place is about 800m from the jetty, about 700m to Kg Kuala Tahan.
TRV has its own cafe. You can have your lunch, dinner and other meals there beside your breakfast. Please inform owner for special meal.
TRV also have fan rooms and small dormitory.

Hospitable Host

My wife and I had a splendid stay at TRV motel and lodge. The place is cozy, very clean, tranquil and value-for-money. The staff are friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Even though the motel is about 800 m away from Kuala Tahan, one of the staff willingly ferried us to and fro in his pick-up truck. We would definitely recommend this place for those who wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern-day life and to get near to nature with all its serene beauty. Experience the renowned traditional Malaysian hospitality and kampung lifestyle. Enjoy.

Wonderful experience

Very nice motel and friendly staff!! Though we visited during ramdan, the restaurant was closed. Provided us vegeterian breakfast.. Rooms are basic but are cool. 
They provided free transport till main stop. Hotel is approx 400 meters away from the river/floating restaurant.

Nice Stay!!

have been to Taman Negara for countless time. but this was the first time staying here. stayed for 3d2n. the motel is about 600m from the Sg Tahan. the motel provide transport services for guests to the jetty to Taman Negara. it is about 400m from Kampung Kuala Tahan. it is located next to the main road.

was given an air-conditioned room. room had the air-conditioner switched on before my arrival. really appreciate the gesture as the current weather is quite hot. the room came with a queen-sized, attached bathroom with heater, kettle and drinking utensils. there are also twin rooms, and quads. my party consists of 70++ pax.

the motel has its own restaurant where we can have our meals. we had a bbq dinner on the last night (need to inform the owner before our arrival). on the last day, lunch was a picnic by Sg Tahan. the stay at the motel help in making our program to destress our students a successful event. thank you to the owner Pn Rosnah.
