Location is great, close to the waterfront, bus stops, 7/11. The owner is very friendly and picked me up from the airport, but other than that he was never around. He owns a restaurant behind the hostel where he used to be. He was very helpful! The hostel was empty when I was there, so very quiet apart from one night when there was a party down the street.

Great pods

The hostel is small but 'big enough', clean and a good place to meet people. The beds are comfortable and the showers are nice. I really felt at home. The location is great, in less than 5 minutes you're in the city centre.
John, the owner, is the best! He is really kind, funny and helpful. Ask him anything, he knows everything! 
Really good hostel I would definitely come back if I'm ever near ;-)

Made my stay in Kuching!

The place had an odd smell when I was there, but was clean enough. The staff was rarely around but nice when they were. The pods were fantastic with the ability to have some privacy in a dorm. Unfortunately, I set up an airport transfer and the owner did not show up. It was a very quiet hostel close to shops and restaurants.

Little strange

This place is definitely the best guesthouse you can stay in Kuching. The place is very clean, homey atmosphere, friendly staff and laid back feeling just like the town it is in! You get coffee and toast all day and the beds are pods so you have a small private space to sleep. The matresses are very comfortable. The best of all is the owner John, who will take good care of you and will make sure your stay here is wonderful. You also have a great rooftop bar tp hangout at noght and have some cold beer.

Best budget accomodation in Kuching

I stayed here for almost a month and for the price you get alot more comfort compared to a regular dorm with noisy steel frame beds. The pods feel very private and the sound insulation is surprisingly good at blocking out noise from any neighbours you might have.

The breakfast is simple but unlimited (toast with jam and peanut butter and tea/coffee)

Well worth the extra quid/dollar over cheaper alternatives.

Its also right bang in the middle of where you'd want to be in Kuching, everything is accessible from here.
