I  chose Beds Guesthouse , after reading number or reviews and was not disappointed.

1. I could confirm bookings by phone from Australia, staff super helpful & pleasant

2. This is a real Budget Guesthouse, shared ablutions & kitchen at Aus $ 20 / night       means you can spend more on excursions & experiencing the culture.

3. Location in Chinatown means great shops & cheap cafes

4. Good Pharmacy next door w Aus. trained owner made remedies quick & easy

5. Beds staff spoke good English & gave good local knowledge & travel advice

              Go to Fruit & Veg. Shop Opposite & ask for blemished stock
    Fill a bag for 1 Ringitt ( 30 cents Aus. ) , they are happy to get rid of stock that is  
    unsightly and you save a bundle  !

All in all  Beds & the Superb staff are what makes a Budget  Holiday memorable.

Beds Guesthouse - great value & Staff for Budget travellers

The bed is really great. I stayed in a six-bed female dormitory. The room was very large. There were locks (the lock is to be brought), a desk and mirrors. The beds are comfortable. There are two pillows and a proper blanket with bed linen. Breakfast is basic; tea and coffee are available all day long. The showers look fresh, the toilets are clean. The staff is super friendly. There is a washing machine (5 MYR). The living area is okay. The guesthouse is about 15 minutes walk from the center, but the way there is great. There are many shops and Chinese restaurants nearby. The Wlan is on top and available on the rooms.

Super guesthouse.

After 9 months of traveling, it's a crazy good to find a place where you feel at home! Everyone is adorable! It's simple but very clean, good bed, good wifi, great shared kitchen opportunity to cook. Everyone will be taking little care of you. My beloved teen, there's a living room with TV and movies.

Great location, super clean guesthouse with friendly staff that feel like family to me. 
It's close to many food venders & restaurants. You will be within walking distance to many of the local tourist spots. You will enjoy your stay at Beds Guesthouse. 

Super guesthouse!! 

It is a 20 minute walk to town, with one staff member who is really helpful. Who is happy to be a cheap taxi too.

Very friendly staff that give the cheapest and easiest ways to get about, even if that means not doing a tour! Breakfast is good, air con in the rooms, very comfortable beds. They play movies all day in the common room if you just want to chill out. They have computers you can use which are fast! Restaurants near by are very cheap and nice! Also you can do your own laundry for just 5MYR. Thanks for a good stay!

Very good!

Beds guesthouse is one of those places where you just keep extending your stay. Situated at lively Jalan Padungan, near to good vegetarian eateries, very nice and relaxed staff and everything works just fine. Free water at the kitchen to fill your bottle, cheap laundry, nice and clean rooms.They were also very helpful and kept our stuff at safe for free when we went to national parks for a couple of days.  Highly recommended!

Super nice guesthouse

This hotel was one of our heartbeats! Found by chance when all the rooms in the affordable hotels around the corner were taken because of a music festival, we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms and especially the toilets is irreproachable. The shower water is warm and good flow, and the toilets are separate. The kitchen is really of excellent quality. Breakfast is included (coffee/cafe, toast, eggs) and all day long. To find the price of the room (55 RM), we really found the options a very high price than what we see there. The room is also a really good option for a very short time! The room is a good deal for friends walking around the center (10 minutes) but it is always a good idea to get the bus, because this is a very nice room, and it is always a good idea to get the bus, because this is a very nice room, and it is very nice to walk around.

The best value for money we've ever had.

This is the best quality/price hostel I've ever visited in Malaysia (between 5 and 6). I stayed in a four-bedroom with friends for almost a week. The city centre is about a 15 minute walk away and the hostel is in the heart of the Chinatown. Breakfast is not exceptional but the reception is excellent and everything else is very nice. I recommend it.

Very satisfied

It was the best hotel I've ever stayed in Malaysia. Great bed, good internet, great hot water shower and toilet (they're separate!) There's a kitchen and washing machine, which is a big plus for me. Very clean and cozy in this guest house. The staff is great, always helping with my questions. I also want to note the large number of food courts and restaurants on this street, where there is a boarding house, also a supermarket and shopping malls. It's only a 10-minute walk to the beach and all the sights of the city. I recommend this hotel to all my friends, and when I return to Kuching, I'll stay here only.
