The view was amazing. I really like the ambience here. You can view paddy field and some cows at the back of this guest house. The mini pool located at a very perfect spot. Nice view in the evening while you swim inside.

Vacation

In general, the experience was very good. It is a quite new so it means the maintenance and aspect of the property is decent.
We stayed in the room 021 which is near the Reception building is also in good conditions.
Pool is cute and a great pleasure to enjoy, we were very lucky as very few rooms occupied so it was not busy at all and we had the pool almost for all of us only.
Transportation is needed it if you want to go and be around particularly Cenang which is at less than 10mn.

Team was polite and enough discreet.

Definitely recommend it.

Very good 

We had 3 nights at this beautiful cottage. The staff are exceptional, attentive and always ready to help. A real comfortable stay, and great value for money. I would recommend hiring a car, as it is a 15 minute drive to Cenang beach (tourist area). Private parking is available at this property. Would definitely book again if we visit Langkawi!

Brilliant

It was a nice place to stay and staffs were friendly.

However the price for room was oveepriced for me. 2 double beds and average size room for rm480.

The breakfast also not worth it since they only serve basic and fixed breakfast.

Nice place but dont expect to much

I was not very familiar with this place and was tad worried but once I got there, I was surely in for a treat as the rooms and bathroom were clean and very comfortable. we had a very relaxing time and enjoyed our stay here. It has a very beautiful layout of the cottages with a swimming pool and breakfast cafe at the back which faced an amazing view of paddy field and cows, which was very relaxing to watch while you ate your breakfast. We stayed here for two nights and we got two different and tasty breakfast each morning. Thank you for the wonderful experience and keep up the good work.

Perfect place to stay for family trips

Stayed at Cloud 9 during my last trip to Langkawi. A Very Average Place, Looks beautiful only in the pictures. The Breakfast is fixed and very basic. Rooms too are Average. Most services like Car and Bike rentals too far away from this property..no decent restaurants around it as well..So you cant possible have a relaxing day at Cloud 9

Very Basic

This place is next to the paddy fields.Great for those who love the paddy fields, the sound of birds chirping, the sight of cows grazing the fields ... Our room was clean, two queen-sized beds for our family of four was jusy nice. Breakfast was adequate.Could do with one or more public washrooms.

Great ambience if you like the paddy fields

We stayed for 3 nights here in room 20 and 21 from 31 to 2nd April. We enjoy our stay there with view of large paddy fields from the pool. What we have expected of the price we paid for. So long it's clean and relaxing place. Highly recommended to people who wanted to enjoy most off the days at the beach and get together with friends by the pool at night. 

Great place to stay

My lovely wife and I spent four nights at Cloud9 Holiday Cottages. It's a nice place to spend a few days, with comfortable rooms and a lovely pool/bar area overlooking open fields. Great if you're looking for somewhere peaceful that's just a short drive from the main beaches, bars and restaurants. We did, however, have a couple of issues that prevent me giving them more than three stars.

Firstly, we booked what was described as a one bedroom house. What we got was a mid-sized en suite hotel room. There wasn't even a seating area in the room. The description on booking.com also mentioned a number of other things that didn't measure up to the reality. One reason we'd chosen this place was the promise of a shared kitchen as we liked the idea of cooking for ourselves for a change after a few months on the road. This simply did not exist. The listing also said that the 'house' included a dining area and outdoor furniture. While these things existed they weren't private as implied. Lots of other things on their listing are also inaccurate. I think they have just ticked lots of boxes without fully understanding what they mean.

Secondly, they didn't cope well with the fact that we are vegetarians. The included breakfast is meat heavy. When we asked if they had a vegetarian alternative we were told that we'd have to pay extra for it. This seemed totally unreasonable as they had fruit, eggs and noodles for sale that they could just swap in for what we weren't eating. In the end they did give us what we wanted but we had to get management approval, which wasn't easy given the owner was overseas. Such a fuss about such a small thing. Hopefully they have taken on board our comments and will be more flexible in future.

All in all I'd still recommend this place but make sure you manage your expectations. If you come expecting a nice hotel room and good shared bar/pool area you'll be happy. If you expect a house with more private space you'll be disappointed.

Finally, I wouldn't recommend eating dinner here unless you like microwave pizza or overpriced pasta. Try the nearby Fat Frog for much nicer food at similar prices.

Nice enough but not what I'd expected

The room are quite cozy and it’s clean. But the room don’t have a fridge to keep your drinks and a closet for your clothes but it’s okay. Lastly, the view around the cottage are pretty stunning and nice staff
