My wife and I were strolling along Cenang Beach Road with our baby on the stroller and found this place. We asked whether my wife could have a 40-min foot & back massage (RM49) while I had a manicure (RM69) myself. After objecting initially and claiming their manicure person fell ill, the lady manager agreed after discussing with the manicure lady. I stayed outside on the porch with the stroller and the baby as they have a “no shoes” policy as many other Thai spas do. A perfectly healthy-looking manicure lady comes out. The manicure is advertised as having a bath in salts and then cutting, shaping, polishing and ending with a 10 minute hand massage. About 10 mins into the manicure I feel a strong cut in my cuticle and blood starts coming out fast. The manicure lady gasps and apologises profusely and the whole procedure is delayed some 10-15 mins as she cleans my wound with alcohol and the manager lady who also sits out in the porch goes and gets a product with eucalyptus oil to apply to wounds. By now our baby had felt uneasy out and we asked if he could go in while mom held him in his hands — the manager agreed. Right around the time the manicure is on the polishing state I notice the manicure lady keeps looking at every customer which makes me uneasy as she already made a mistake out of being distraught before. Then 3 ladies come with a booking and my wife comes out and tells me she had a good foot & back massage but could not book a pedicure further as one of the ladies that just came in had booked the nails lady. I understand now why the service felt rushed and theorise why is it that we were refused at the beginning. My pedicure ends abruptly without the hand massage. I approach the front desk and tell the manager lady I am not willing to pay more then RM100 (RM18 less than the total) because a) I did not get a full service (no hand massage) b) I was cut already. The manager lady confirms with the manicurist that in fact I did not get a hand massage. She suggests I can come inside and get a hand massage now but it would be unfair to charge me anything less than full price. I retort that I do not want the hand massage anymore as we have to go elsewhere and the delay was not my fault it was because I got cut my her manicurist. She refuses to sympathise with me at all. She insists I am victimising their business by not paying full price and that she has already bent over backwards for me as no other massage place in town would accept a couple with a baby walking in. I see there is no way I can make this lady understand me and I pay in full (RM118) and leave. 

Overall, a terrible experience. This place is run (and perhaps owned) by a lady that will not at look you in the eye, will not acknowledge any mistakes on her part or those of her staff, and will throw rudeness and abuse your way if you dare complain. Our baby was extremely sweet at all times and in fact all other staff were enchanted with him. The only reason the baby ever stepped into the spa was because the lady manager fully authorised it. It seems to me in her mind we are all dumb tourists and she is only interested in you if you shut up and pay no matter how great or terrible the service is in the end. 

Do not recommend anyone to come in here. Nothing special about this place. Many other Thai massage shops in the area. I certainly will never come back. 

Drew Blood from My Cuticle And Refused to Adjust Price  

We stayed in a private room for two, with a queen size bed. Honestly the room was quite ugly but it was cheap and clean. The bathroom was small, it had a toilet and the shower in the same place so you could sit on the toilet while showering. Overall it was okay, you kind of get what you pay for but it wasn't shabby or so.

The location is a bit too far from the beach for my liking, would have preferred something closer. We were kind of out in the last minute and Chinese New year was coming up so a lot of places were fully booked. It's not too far though and it seemed like the other guests had a great time in the main area together (we just slept in our room and then went out to do things so we never hung out there)

Fine, but no more than fine

- :Our rooms were very basic. The beds were a bit squicky and the mattresses had a few stains. The lockers were not very safe. Our room was not soundproof and we could hear everything outside. 

+: The price is very fair. We had the luck to stay in the a/c room. It is very great to meet new people. All guests sat every evening together in the chillout area and talked, listened to music and had fun. So you definetly won't be alone. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can fill up your bottle with drinking water any time which is great. 

Conclusion: I can recommend this hostel to everyone who wants to meet new people or only stays for 2 to 3 nights on langkawi. It was great and very cheap for 2 nights but not for longer. Very basic (not so clean) hostel with nice staff and everything you need. 

Great to meet New people but average

There are currently (1st August 2017) building works going on here on the top floor that don't look like they're going to be finished any time soon. They usually start at 9am so you will struggle to sleep past that time. They finish around 6pm.

The beds are comfortable and the rooms clean with our private bathroom being okay too. The air conditioning unit in our room was rather loud but it helped lessen the noise of building works early in the morning. 

The hostel is a 10-15 minute walk to the nearby beach and main strip of restaurants and bars. 
The wifi is really bad from our room. I struggled to connect a lot and when I did the d/l speed was very poor so you have to go down to the common room area to use it properly. 
They have a laundry service and you can also rent a moped off them for RM30 a day. 

Good hostel but poor wifi

All the staff were so friendly, I mean more than they really needed to be, all the staff would always smile and say hello, they were all happy to help if you needed something. Apit, the guy at the front desk is lovely, and he made my stay even better, even the guys who look after the watersports boats and work from the hostel are lovely.(one day they even came in with about 30 eggs and said we could have them!!)
A small stove and a fridge was great as we could cook some meals at home, the water cooler with hot and cold water was perfect for filling waterbottles and cups of coffee.
The dorm room was comfy, each bed has a light and fan plus a curtain to close off your bed for privacy, 
The place was cleaned daily, the showers and toilets were clean, they even supply shower soap in a bottle.
You can hire scooters from here and also arrange any travel or day trips.
The wifi was good, it played up for a week and kept dropping out but then it was fixed and worked so fast!
I really loved this place!!

Lovely staff and great vibe, I didn't want to say goodbye

This hostel is in a great location - 5-10 minute walk to the beach and main town of Cenang, 2 minutes from the night market on a Thursday and 5 minutes from KasBah, a nice relaxed bar/restaurant open all day. 
We had a double private room with aircon which was fine although the aircon quite noisy. The bed was comfortable and the room quite clean. The shower didn't drain properly. 
The wifi is ok downstairs but doesn't reach the rooms.

Excellent location and good value, wifi not in room

Searching for some massage shops and we choose here for our foot massage. Its near to Cenang Beach. 40mins for RM 39 for foot massage. It's quite comfortable with the service and massage skills. Price with the service consider okay and acceptable.
