I stay here on November 4 . Book the single room for me and my 2 year old daughter . Everything is nice and cozy . Toilet is so nice . The girl in front desk always smile and i feel welcome . They let me keep baby stroller at the counter so i dont have to carry it to the room . And it make easy for me . Thank you .

Great

I had some difficulty locating the Hotel as I followed the map on the Booking.com website only to find there was no Hotel. I inquired with locals and eventually a five star hotel pointed me in the right direction. I was carrying a heavy bag so I was quite tired by the time I reached the Hotel. That is the only negative point I have to say and I mentioned the fault in the map to the management. 
The room was very well equipped, the bed very comfortable, two different types of pillows, one soft and one hard were provided, free bottled water was provided, the room contained a wardrobe with two large drawers, another bedside set of two drawers and a desk area and chair, there were three mirrors, the TV was a good size but some channels were a little snowy and the bathroom was a good size for a single room with hot water, toilet paper, soap and a liquid soap or shampoo dispenser.
I have travelled a lot and this room was very good for a single room and the best I have come across. I have read the other reviews and don't agree with the negative ones as the staff were friendly, the cleaning done as soon as I asked, the place kept clean and tidy and the manager helpful. There were mosquitoes in the room but I was never bitten so maybe Melakan mosquitoes don't bite? The internet was only slow on a few occasions and once I had to ask the management to restore the service as there provider had cut off the internet. Once this was done there were no other issues. I personally recommend the place as the price was good, the facilities excellent and the location close to all the main features of Melaka. Yonkers street is only a 10 minute walk away, the Malls are 5 minutes and there are local shops and a weekend night market in the street at the end of the Hotel's road.

A great two week stay

Definitely not the people who are unable to walk on staircases as there isn't any lift. No toilet papers, dirty toilet, lousy tv reception. Poor sound resistance as you could hear how loud your neighbours snored.

I found cockroaches in my room as well as mosquitoes. The bedsheet especially the White color comforter doesn't look White. 

I was very upset with their poor service. It was run by a cheap labour (bangla or Pakistani) who didn't speak malay or English. It was so ridiculous to find him sleeping overnight at the sofa set at the lobby. 

I paid for 2 nights and I prepared to lose my the other night. Reminded the staff to clean my room as promised but waited for 2 hours. I was sitting at the lobby and there wasn't anyone to help.

I won't come back to this hotel for sure.

Lousy service bad hotel

There is no toilet paper in its toilet. So terrible. Room is so small. Room for three but have only a litte wardrobe... about 40cmx180cm. Many smudges on wall. Location is good. Quite near by Jonker Walk. Value for money. No breakfast. 

Not a good choice

This is a VERY BASIC hotel. I came here alone, and the room was priced at about RM70-80. It was a VERY small room enough for a single bed and a small cabinet. There is a sink at the end of the bed (you can imagine the size of the room) and the toilet is washroom is also at the end of bed right next to the sink. The bed is clean though. There is no hot shower and no breakfast provided as well. The hotel is administered by a local Malay guy with a Bangladesh staff to housekeep the hotel. Although they seem to be nice people, but I don't encourage woman travelling solo to stay here. But if you just need a place to sleep and dont require anything else, then this place is for you. Plus points about this place is the location :

  Jonker Street            : 10-13 minutes
  Pahlawan Mall           : 8 minutes
  Night market             : 4 minutes
  River Cruise Point    : 15 minutes
