Strategic location nearby Miri city center. Comfortable, spacious & clean room with high speed wifi. Parking space available for those who are driving. Friendly crew always available to serve the guests. Also Muslim's friendly hotel.. 

Comfortable, spacious room & Muslim's friendly hotel

We check in around 3pm in the afternoon. Parked our car n registered for checking in. Only one staff doing the check-in so it took a while. Upon checking in went back to car in front of hotel n there is a summon for parking.
Next morning woke up around 9am n lo n behold another summon on the windscreen. You bet i check out in a hurry before another summon comes along.
Good location. Staff courteous but not helpful. Wifi not good for our room.
But for the parking problem i think it be a good hotel. Dont stay here if u have car is my advice. There is probably a ticket psycho ready to pounce on u giving ticket. 

No parking Hotel

The hotel was surprisingly good considering the money we paid. It had all the basic facilities and the room was quite nice as well. The receptionists were friendly as well. The location is good, there are restaurants nearby and the airport is not too far as well.

Only feedback is, give an option to room book with breakfast, please.

Great value for money

We loved this hotel and got an incredible rate. RM40 for a double room, en suite, all the commodities you would expect from a first class western-style hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful. 10/10 Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Amazing for price!!!

We had difficulty in finding the location. Same area with Pullman and Ajang Hotel. 

The std room was small... not suitable for families. I find the ceiling quite low. But the room was spick n span. The bed was very comfortable. The interior design for a small room was quite impressive n fully thought out. No space wastage. 

There were no breakfast buffet during our stay just ala carte. No parking specific for guests. overall its an OK hotel.

1) Not very affordable, if you want to stay here i highly not recommended you to choose a room include breakfast because the menu very limited. I hope that the management can add more choice please. 
2) At the receptionist there is one lady not very friendly. Always look at her phone. What i can say their housekeeping and security guard much more friendly than her. 

*Thank goodness because room very nice, comfy and beautiful. 

The Restaurant really need improvement

We were going to Mulu National Park, and due to flight timings had to stopover in Miri.  We were 3 girls and looking for a safe place to stay.  On first glance, the exterior of Hotel Nur looks just like a motel, but we were very pleased with the furnishings of our room.  We booked a family deluxe and the room was big and spacious for the 3 of us, and a nice toilet and shower ensuite.  The breakfast was good too, it was a la carte.  there were 3 choices, local fare (ie fried noodles/rice), omelete, or Western.

It is walking distance to Imperial shopping mall, you would not miss the mall as once you exit the hotel you can see the Imperial shopping mall and can walk there without getting lost.  The hotel staff was very friendly and also recommended a chinese restaurant within walking distance where there was cheap and good seafood.   There were many other shops and mini marts around, so everything was convenient to access. The hotel also recommended in their hotel brochure a kueh lapis shop and we bought kueh lapis home as souvenirs.

The negatives: 1. We had actually chose Hotel Nur as reviews had said the wifi was good, however the wifi was not working in the room on the day we stayed.  The hotel staff said we had to go to lobby if we need wifi, and even there the wifi was intermittent. 2. Another disappointment was when I asked if the hotel could recommend a clean spa for massage, they couldnt give any.  Typically travellers look for eating, shopping and massage, and hotel staff should be able to recommend these 3 activities.  We saw a few spa very nearby but as we were unsure if they were clean places, we didnt dare to go.

Value for money and comfortable

Stayed here with students for work. The staff were very accommodating and looked after all 25 of us. The rooms are clean and the hotel is very convenient to local pubs and restaurants. It is also fairly quiet which was a pleasant surprise. We also ate here for 3 days and the food was good to excellent on each occasion. The highlight was the shower which was welcomely warm with great water pressure. Definitely recommend this to this exploring Miri.

Nice hotel with helpful staff

Like two nights here. The location is quiet, but so central that you can walk to enough restaurants, bars, shops & banks in the nearby area. The rooms were modern & clean - unfortunately you couldn't open the windows. The breakfast buffet wasn't very good, but at least there was one.

Nice rooms, good location

We spent a night here on a road trip. We had a rental car that fit many offices in the vicinity, but otherwise difficult to reach. We could eat in the nearby area on foot. The rooms were nice, we had a suite that was very spacious. The breakfast buffet was the worst on our round trip. Hardly any choice and generally very unpleasantly arranged. Each one a point of discount for the location and breakfast.
