The first was in a completely molded room. The walls and ceilings were completely covered with black mold and the smell was also bad accordingly. Then we asked for another room, which had only a slight mold infection. The bed was dirty, however, and the sheet had some holes. The bathroom was also not very clean. We were very happy to have booked just one night.

You got it!

Rooms are very small, stuff spends most of the time watching TV or smoking on a balcony. If you are just looking for a cheap place to stay in Miri, that it located in the center of the town and is easily bookable online - this is your choice. Otherwise, please dig deeper.

We've stayed in a small double room for one night only, as found a better place for the same price not far away.

Cheap and average place in Miri

Booked this with a couple of friends about a few days back. Found out on day of arrival that all rooms were full even though we made earlier bookings. Turns out some guests decided to extend their stay but that shouldn't be a reason to leave other guests stranded does it?

Thoroughly disappointed.

No point in booking

Worst bed EVER (as title suggests), seriously, ended up with backache. Reception were pretty unfriendly,  the room was more like a prison cell, however, the communal showers were clean - not the best night's sleep!!

This hostel is placed in the centre of miri. The street is plenty of restaurants, malls and laundry services. 
Our room was pretty clean and the air conditioner worked fine. The breakfast is basic but good in a lovely terrace.
We have to thank all the stuff for the trait and kindness. For sure i recommend!

Good situation, clean and charming stuff

The accommodation is very nice for the price it has.The rooms are small but like the bathroom they are very clean.The staff is very friendly.We were left with our backpacks there, we forgot a bag there and did everything possible to help us recover it.

Grand staff

This is probably the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in! The shower and toilet area was spotless as were the rooms. We stayed in a twin bunk room and it was so clean. Air con worked amazing and the pillows and duvet were so nice. Really recommend this place.

So so clean!

The first room they assigned to us was a double room, no windows, a very strong smell of mold. We kindly asked that we be replaced with another with single beds, as was requested with the booking, also hoping that it would be better. Unfortunately the second one was even worse. The single beds were in a castle, with luggage not even coming in. No window, it looked like a loft, the smell of mold was unbearable, the beds were so wet, mattresses included. Nothing to say about the cleanliness, the bathrooms even in the common one did not seem to be wet or dirty. Unfortunately, we were impressed by the lack of moisture, but above all the lack of dirt.

I came from Kuching. The very kind and welcoming staff Very good position in the city center Chambers too narrow, without windows; although clean, the smell of mold is stagnant and impregnating. Mattresses and blankets are wet because there are no windows. I couldn't sleep in it and changed it. I wouldn't recommend it.

Very clean, but too cloudy and claustrophobic.

Very clean and pleasant place. Big terrace for lunches. lounge with tv and 2 computers with internet. light breakfast included.
