The staff's helpfulness and knowledge of the area and their punctuality were excellent. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly and has good humor. 
There is a 6-7 minute drive to the Mulu NP headquarters. You have free drive from the lodge to HQ.

Excellent staff

I really enjoyed my 2 days one night here.
The staff are lovely, dining area and rooms clean and tidy.  Lovely grounds.  Guide FiFi is knowledgeable, Anil really helpful, as were the rest of the staff but I did not remember everyone’s name.  The food was super delicious and generous servings as well, the gardenia bush outside my room smelt Devine.  The guests were well looked after I hope to come back in the near future fingers crossed.  Thanks heaps team Benerat.  
Thank you to the wonderful travel agent(tropical adventure tours)in Miri who helped make  this possible.  Guide Charlie is also very good who guided me in Miri.   

Super happy😆

We were very impressed by the level of hospitality and communication extended by Benarat, in particular their friendly and hardworking manager (can't remember his name sorry). Highly personalised which made you feel more like a friend than a customer, unique itinerary prepared depending on how long you were staying and what you were interested in, friendly reminders in case you forget what time you have to be ready (which we did!) and flawless transfers to and from the airport and Mulu Park HQ. Our initial room was different to what we had booked and upon notifying the manager he apologised for the mix up and we were moved immediately with a smile. 

Great scenic property on the river with free roaming chickens and friendly resident dogs. Set menu meals were good and plentiful with as much tea and coffee as you can drink all day and a small, fairly priced bar. Dining area set up on a nice balcony overlooking the river.

Our simple room was tidy and of good size, flyscreens were operational. There was barely any water pressure in our shower but no problem as a bucket was provided. Electricity only on in the evenings but of no real consequence as you are out all day exploring the rainforest. No wifi but if you must it can be accessed for a small fee nearby. 

For those wanting a more luxurious stay Benarat may not be for you but they really offer a great nature experience in a safe and friendly environment. 

Great service, highly personalised

If you want to get the real jungle vibe, this is the place to go. No internet and wifi, just nature and people. Things don't run by the clock. If you can't deal with that, have a jog around your local zoo. Excellent staff, Anil and Rey (?) friendly and enthusiastic; extremely helpful guides Duncan and Desmond saved my bacon on the pinnacles descent. A solo traveller, I stayed 5 nights, and will go back again for more.

Ultimately, you get out of it what you put into it.

The real jungle vibe

The room and bathroom is very spacious. Free upgrade to aircond room. However, aircond is only functioning after 6pm. Make sure you stay away from the room during day time and get yourself exploring jungles and caves. Nice breakfast and excellent service. However, the lighting inside room and bathroom got to be improved. No internet line from Celcom and Digi. No wifi service. We walked from this Inn to Marriott for a cup of drink and for the wifi at night. Private transport to National Park (which is less than 5mins from this Inn) is charged at RM5 per person per trip.
