And Old Cabin in the middle of No Where. No shops no Nothing. No Wi Fi NO NOTHING but Monkeys and Feral Cats. Was supposed to stay 4 days stayed 1. Never again room was clean but Lizards on ceiling. If you want to get away from everything this is your place.

One of the most dreadful memory and experience I ever had.

Awful and dreadful

The place is in need of renovation. The restaurant was closed when we arrived. The front desk lady hardly speaks English. But the view from the back yard was amazing and we drove down to the river it was very beautiful. Alot of people were fishing but this can hardly be called a retreat. 

Disappointing!

The place is mesmerizing naturally. The concept of the resort is very well adaptive with the surrounding, but this place is really desperately in need of some image uplifting and facilities upgrade. The staff been very helpful and friendly.Another thing i noticed lots of cats wondering around the resorts. Kudos to the staff that feeding them and let them stay around. I would stay again in this place and i hope some upkeep has been done by that time.

Hidden Jewels...desperate for upgrades

My family and I stayed for 2 nights in 3 bedroom bungalow which consisted of 2 king size beds and 1 single bed. It's well equipped with large living room and a dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with stove for cooking, sink and refrigerator.   Well air conditioned in all rooms and areas.  Facilities to iron clothings are available. Amenities are replaced on daily basis and it's of hotel concept rather than homestay. 

I would also like to compliment the hotel services. They'd installed spotlight and barbecue pit near the bungalow for us to hold our barbecue event. On the 2nd day my father had a fall and the hotel personnel had come with first aid kit as requested very fast. Kudos. 

The scenery of the lake is beautiful. Plenty of attraction sites to visit.

In summary,  worth the money spent.

We stayed one night on 13th March 2016 at the Semi D suite ( 3 br aprtment) , en route to Padang Besar. It was fully airconditioned, a lounge, and kitchenette; 2 rooms with King beds, and one room with a single bed. 2 bathrooms. Basic needs are met, ie beddings are clean, hot water, old TV with 5 Astro channels, and good water pressure. 
The negative points were: The room was full  of small crawling insects that bite ( charlie) , lizard droppings on the floor, broken pipes, torn curtain showers, old discoloured furnitures. Costs us RM330 per night. No breakfast. No receipts. 
Plus points: Lake facing, big field, windy , nice view. Big apartment. Mini bar. Maintainance men very efficient. 
Will i stay there again? Maybe. 

Old, & poorly maintained; not for small children

Reached here after sunset and it was impossible to find. There were no lights at all along the road or inside the compound. Check-in was quick but once again got lost trying to find the room because the entire place is so dimly lit and the room number is tiny. No signboards to be seen within the compound at night. The room had a mouldy smell and a lot of tiny insects. The fridge had a rotten fish smell. The smell was so bad that the entire room had the smell after opening the fridge for a couple of seconds. The toilet was not clean. It was very dirty. There's no food available at all. Honestly, this place has so much potential but it is managed so poorly. This place is a disgrace to the word "resort".
