Blue Water is a special place where the 3 brothers Acmed, Abdulla and Mohamed take really good care of you. The bed and breakfast has 3 rooms which gives the place a familiar atmosphere. You can buy dinner made by Abdulla and Mohamed or make you own food in the kitchen. We rented bikes, which was great for transportation to the supermarket and beach. 
Acmed was quick in answering all the mails, picked us up in the airport and drove us to the fruit ferry. On the island we were picked up at arrival. All the way we were taken good care of and we felt totally safe on the island. The local people are very friendly and caring and staying on the island wa an eye opening experience.

fantastic bed and breakfast with family atmosphere

Let's set the expectations first! In Thoddoo you are in a Maldivian Island, so no resorts, you can stay only in the tourist beach wearing a bikini and there isn't a proper village, but.... you will for sure experience the Maldivian hospitality and you will stay in an atoll without being in a resort! Thoddoo is a developing atoll, in few years for sure things will change in a more "tourist" way, for the moment you will stay among "real people". Blue Water Guesthouse definitely saved our holiday as we were without any place to stay in the Maldives and we arrived here by chance! The place is cozy and clean, it is run by a group of very kind guys, always ready to make you confortable. We had good Maldivian breakfasts and in the evening we always had dinner here, usually prepared by the grandma or mother of one of the guys, so definitely fresh Maldivian food. We think that this place has a great potential, it just needs little improvements and more attention to details.

Thoddoo... a must do!

I would like to say that it was our first trip to Maldives and we did not  expect that everything can be so great! The room is high standard, very clean and spacious, service excellent. Beach small but very nice, beautiful sunsets. I recommend this place for everybody. Of course we come back. Thank you

Excellent!

We spent one week at Blue Water Thoddoo Inn in Thoddoo Island. The young manager, Adhu is the best. He did EVERYTHING for us from the beginning and made us feeling as at home. He is kind, funny and always ready to help us and to reply to our questions. The hotel is extremely clean, cozy, AC, fan and hot water, beautiful garden and colourful walls. Every day we had a good and fresh home made breakfast, fresh fruit in the room for our arrival and a fish dinner one night. I recommend to visit this place and Thoddoo Island which is a paradise far away from the resorts islands and the mass tourism, here you can still find the real Maldives. I hope it wont change! Bye bye Adhu and Roman and thanks for your kindness... next time we will see the plankton hopfully!

Wonderful Hotel, excellent service!!

Beautiful island, friendly staff, the villa is near the beach - not very big but   nicely designed, contained everything  I needed. Breakfast was perfect , it was on of the best of my vacations , Thoddoo is Heaven on earth .
