While walking on the beach one day I met lovely Fahima who was fishing. She was so friendly and welcoming and easy to talk to I just wanted to hug her!

Then I had a horrific experience at a nearby hotel I was staying that refused to book excursions and ruined the one I did get arranged. I went into the village to find a boat owner to hire myself and had the awesome fortune of hiring Mohosin who was able to get me into the water a couple yards from a 20 foot whale shark before the horde of flailing tourists from the other boats stampeded us. Mohosin really saved the day and made up for my previous bad experiences. He is a wonderful human being that treated me with the utmost respect and caring!!

The guesthouse is cozy, very well maintained, and super clean. The most important thing is that they have a lot of competition from very greedy and shady hotels nearby that will manipulate and extort you. But the name of their business is spot on. If you want to experience the absolute best the Maldives has to offer you won’t find it in any better people!!


The BEST people you could ever meet!!!

I have a lot to say about this guesthouse, I will start from the best point: Ibrahim, Nimal ane Muri.
These guys are totally friendly and they are working hard to solve all the problems, doubts, or organizing excursions. We were speaking with them about everything, we really felt friends, not guests, I have never experienced this kind of feeling before this stay. 
We would like one day to host them in Europe to thanks for all the good things they did.
The GH has 3 rooms and it s very easy to socialize with other guests.
The Maldivian breakfast is amazing, the intercontinental instead was nothing special, so I recommend the Maldivian one.
The room was very clean and with the air conditioning the temperature was very good. You can get room service if you ask for it.
During night it was very quite, it s not close to the mosque so you won't hear anything. 
The position is very good, 5 by walk to the harbour (where you will take the boats for diving, fishing or other) and close to the beach.
About the bikini beach, the island has two coasts, the east coast (they say sunrise coast) where there are mostly locals, so is not a bikini beach, and the west coast (sunset) where you have to walk for 5 minutes and then the bikini beach starts.
The best place where to be in the island is the end, where there is the sandbank; is not part of the bikini beach but you can stay in bikini without any problem, maybe if you see a group of locals, just walk 50-100 meters more, it s just a way to respect their costumes.
The sunset is something crazy.
About diving I recommend you to dive with island divers (you can ask to Ibrahim to get in contact with them), they are a bit more expensive but I think they are the bests.

The best choice ever!!

If you are looking for somewhere to stay on Dhigurah with the advantage of being hosted by a genuine island local in a cosy three room guesthouse with a great budget price and personalised service then this is the place for you!  I had an amazing time staying here for seven days. It is super clean, in the centre of the village, has strong reliable wifi, delicious cooked breakfast every day, fabulous air con/fans, relaxing sandy courtyard, coffee/tea/bottled water available to help yourself to whenever you like and even free snorkeling gear you can borrow to snorkel straight off the beach!  But the best feature is the host Ebraahim who gets 11/10 for service!  His previous experience working in a 5 star resort shines through in so many ways. That coupled with his generous, helpful, warm nature makes him the perfect host. He doesn’t live on the property but is available via message if you need anything, always replying within minutes, and pops in many times a day in person and of course it was always a pleasure to see him!  He could not have done any more for me if he tried, from organising my tours, dropping me off and/or picking me up at the beach on his motor bike and even getting his father to catch me a fresh fish which he had a local cafe cook!  From the moment I set foot in the door to my beautiful welcome coconut drink I felt at home and welcome. Thank you so much for everything Ebraahim, you are an incredible host and I look forward to catching up with you again next year! 

Outstanding Hospitality!!!

Had a wonderful stay at this place. The owner Ibrahim and the staff was very helpful in every way. I loved my time here and I'm very thankful for all the hospitality. The room was also very nice, clean, big and comfortable with ac. It was a good location too. Close to everything. The island is big and its absolutely stunning in the end of it (opposite harbor side). It takes around 40 min to walk along the beach to that area. There's some restaurants and some shop. I recommend this from my heart.

Lovely! 

We had a fantastic time with Dhivehi! The service they gave us were outstanding. The staff took us around the island to show us the beauty of it - and wow what an island! The long sandbank on the tip of the island is breathtakingly beautiful and the water that surrounds it is crystal clear! The location is super good and you are situated in the middle of everything. We went out on two excursions with Dhivehi and got to swim with mantas, dolphins, whale sharks, turtles and also a lot of colorful fish at two different snorkeling spots. Overall we had a great time with and at Dhivehi!

cute mini-hotel at an affordable price. Very friendly atmosphere, everything is as at home. Administrator Ibrahim ( looks like Johnny Depp🙄) will help in resolving any issues, organize a transfer, will give an opportunity to use the kitchen. The rooms in the hotel are clean, for each visitor 3 soft towels. There is a Wi-fi for good speed.

Marhaba! Welcome to the Maldives.

It was so nice to come back to Dhigurah!!
Thinking of the Maldives everyone thinks about expensive holidays and luxury.

I recommend everyone to experience the real maldives.
Meet the inhabitants, live with them, taste real (very nice) maldivian food, lern more about their culture, traditions and their religion. 
And do it for a fair price and above it all: you can support the Maldivians with their business -> their lovely guest houses.

I experienced THIS guesthouse as a warm and lovely guesthouse with an attentive host.
Mohammed lives for his job and he does it very well!

We received a welcome coconut, we had some real good breakfast served by Mohammeds father and the dinner was just PERFECT!!
Mohammeds mother cooked a maldivian tuna curry for us. And I tell you: it is authenic and really nice. Try it out!

And not to forget: Mohammed took us on boat trips with his own boat :-) .
He did some very nice excursions with us. We had some fresh fish and some coconut nicely cooked over a fire at the beach. Just perfect!

Dhivehi Experience – experience it yourself :-)

We had a great and true Dhivehi experience (cool name btw)! The guesthouse is run by a very nice family and offers activities with reasonable prices for the Maldives like night fishing with bbq of the fish caught the next day - they prepared food, the bbq, chairs and table by the beach all with a big smile and cosy feeling.  Their breakfast was the best we had in our 2-week island hopping trip through the Maldives! Dhigurah is one of the best islands in the South Ari atoll not only for its location for dive sites but also for the island itself. The bikini beach (public) on Dhigurah is bigger and nicer than most.

Dhivehi Experience is on the middle of the island among native people. It is very close to the beach, harbor and shops, including gift shops. The guest house has only 3 rooms. Mohamed, is a really nice and helpful guy. You can feel here like in a family. The breakfast and dinner are really great! We have visited two another islands of Maldivies and we have to admit that in this guest house, on this island we spent the best time. You can feel the real atmosphere of Maldivian life. The owner showed us everything on the island and even more. Everytime he tried to adjust his plans to ours to show us something new. He arranged for us divings, snorkeling and fishing tours. We really recommend this place.
