Rahaa Resort

A little spot of paradise, we visited from 13th october to 27th october 2025 and from the moment we stepped onto the island, we were so looked after and began to relax instantly. The resort is clean and tidy, the rooms are very spacious and kept clean every day by the lovely housekeeping, fresh towels and beach towels everyday. The bathroom had a bit of rust on the taps on the hosepipe of the bath, but to me, its an open aired bathroom and exposed to the natural elements, so there is bound to be a bit if rust here and there. We spent literally 2 weeks, just relaxing and snorkelling, there isnt much coral reef off the beach, but there are 2 free snorkelling trips a day with the lovely brando, a short boat ride and you brando will take you into the water to see the reef and marine life. All the staff were so amazing, it felt like we were joing one big happy family from reception to the maintenence, always smiling and work tirelessly so we can all relax. Ismal, the head barman and Arobi, are amazing, always smiling and very attentive. Wassunti, the restaurant lady, her beautiful smile makes you feel so welcome along with halleem who works beside her, they are very attentive and work hard to ensure that you enjoy your meals. The head chef Nihal and his team, work tirelessly again to ensure that everyone is catered for, a buffet style menu, with many different choices, the food is delicious and varied and all the staff are continuously monitoring the pots to refill when needed, there is also a live kitchen at the back, where one of rhe chefs, will cook whatever the live dish is, infront of you, hia pasta is exceptionally good, they are all so friendly and happy to assist if you need anything. And then there is brando, who like i said is the trip compare and also for the evening too, who he sorts the entertainment and joins in with dancing, keep on bouncing brando! The reception team, were so helpful and smily, always a hello when we walked through the reception area. The spa is a very tranquil area and the lady who is running it at the moment is truly wonderful, she made both of us feel at ease as and her massages are amazing, definitely reccomend to treat yourself while there. There is also a jungle attached to the island, which you can go and explore in, youll see some giant crabs and if your lucky fruit bats flying over or hanging in the trees. In all we had a lovely relaxing time and felt rejuvenated by the time we left, I cried as we were leaving as didnt want to leave this island of pure heaven.
