We booked very last minute and were delighted with the value of our room. We would highly recommend doing one of the outings with BR- the prices were fair and we had the best experience! The hospitality was genuine and consistent throughout our stay. They even stayed with us at the harbor until our ferry took off! We were sad to go and even sadder when our next accommodations didn’t come close to competing with BR. If you don’t book here, you’re making a mistake.

Best value accommodations in Maldives

We've been in several hotels and guest houses on the Maldives and this one is by far the best.
The staff is super friendly and really helped us a lot. The island itself is great too.We greatly recommend this guest house

Family travel

We had a great time at the Banana Residence. The staff was very attentive, kind and were keen to help us.

‌They had lots of activities at good prices. You can't get bored!
They cooked a wonderful Maldivian breakfast, served in a very nice chill out dining area.

Great experience!

I was at the Banana Residence from 25 to 31 December 2018 and it was an exceptional holiday. I had already been in a guest house in the Maldives and I was expecting just what I found at the Banana. Staff friendly, friendly and helpful, clean and comfortable room, good food even if I only had breakfast. Among other things, close to the beach, two minutes walk. Considering that I was alone I had no kind of difficulty and there was everything I needed. Of course, those who are used to spending their holidays in luxury residences must be aware that in guest houses in general everything is more modest but for me the important thing is cleanliness and friendliness. I really hope to come back soon to this fantastic place! Goodbye Rashdoo ❤️



Wonderful holiday in Banana Residence Rashdoo 

Myself and My husband stayed here during christmas and new year occasions. They provided good activities such as night fishing, sand bank trip, island picnic, etc which saved our time from going to other third parties. They played good music in nights and great outdoors seating. Very peaceful times that nobody disturbed us where we had our own privacy. The customer service was good as well as their hospitality where they are ready help anytime. There is bikini beach very nearby in case to relax. They provide restaurant facilities and there are also 2 nearby restaurant. The island is easy to explore just by walking and hence the groceries/cosmetics/souvenirs/clothes shopping are just walkable distance.
Breakfast is good.
There were also solo women who stayed here. Hence this is safe place for solo women travellers too.
Therefore, my overall review of this place is excellent. 

Good Place For Couples as well as for solo women travellers

The living room did not live up to expectations, so on the third day we looked for another nearby facility. The price ratio was very poor. The room was not clean enough. The room and bathroom were narrow, with no windows and nothing cozy. The international breakfast, lunch and dinner menu was poor, poor and without choice.

Holiday at the Banana Residence

Entered this GH (Guest House) as soon as we arrived on the island, we were incredulous of what we saw, with a 30 cm sink, we had to save ourselves, even though for two days we paid them 190€ + taxes in FB, an absurd price for what it offered. Very MINIMAL bedroom with window overlooking a hallway with view of a dirty sofa, wires and cable cables, the bathroom if you want to call it the size of a towel, with a 30 cm sink, we had to scrub our teeth, the water at the end of the sink, and then the douche to which if you didn't lock the water to insert you into the bedroom The time was also for the television to enjoy the bread because it didn't work.

Surreal.

Away from the sea, lunch, dinner and breakfast are ridiculous, room with corridor view, bathroom like a camper, yard with social wings, suitcases are Venturi to take with a cart, expensive for the non-services it offers, avoid getting angry and choose another.

An Experience to Be Forgotten

on arrival i was welcome by the airport representative. His service is very good and friendly. It took 01 hour to reach rasdhoo where the hotel is located. On arrival to rasdhoo i got a warm welcome by the staff Nishat and he walked me to the hotel which is just 5 minute from the harbor. All were very organized as the when i entered to the hotel staff make a very nice table with drinks and my name was there too. All about hotel explained on arrival and they escorted me to the room. The bed was decorated nicely "welcome". During my stay there is nothing i have to worry. Everyday room was cleaned and good breakfast. I eat other meals from Lemon drop restaurant which is also very good. I went to sandy beach which is called sandbank and it is beautiful. The night fishing was fun as i caught lot of fishes like red snapper, baracuda etc. All staffs were friendly. I recommend this hotel as the services was exceptional. More than i expected.
