Such an excellent spot. Photos don’t really do it justice! Super tranquil, close to everything, and easy to get everywhere. I was travelling solo for R&R time to dive, do yoga, and hike. I stayed for a week and Josef (owner/manager) was SO helpful. Highly recommend.

Great stay

This is the best spot in the village without doubt.  Quiet, secluded, but walking distance to all you need. Shop, restaurants, beach, cliffs, buses. The villa is beautiful, clean tidy quiet and so spacious. Its been redtored and put to accomodation so well and tastefully. Everything in there you need for self catering and equally you can  just go and eat out! Towels for beach and for showering. 

The pool area is beautifully landscaped and a little oasis. The host goes above and beyond with his property and it shows. He's always available if needed and super quick to help and sort things out and give information. 
Rooms are spacious and I believe they all have a balcony where you can sit and watch the world go by..wellwe did! I  couldn't rave about Xemxija more. 

Be conscious that Xlendi  is hilly but that's nothing to do with the villa. The bay is all one level, the surrounding walks are sometimes level sometimes paved sometimes old steps or hilly and stunning. You can pick your adventure and theres plenty of buses and taxis. It adds to its charm and the salt ponds are incredible to see or head into Gozo on the bus.

Ferry from Malta you pay on the way back and its €5 each. Takes 25 mins approx. We bought a bus pass for 12 journeys €21 each and it made hopping on and off buses so easy. No need for a car at all.

Splendid Xlendi

Gorgeous, traditional maltese house of character :). Great place for a romantic getaway or familly with kids. We had a room with a sea and pool view and that made our stay! I could relax on a deck while my daughter played in a swimming pool. And the host, Josef - great guy to talk to. If we ever go to Gozo again we will definitely stay at Villa Xemxija.

Gorgeous, traditional maltese house of character

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Xemxija, I have been coming to Xlendi for 20 years and have stayed in a lot of different accommodations over the years and this has now become my favourite. Me and my husband plus another couple stayed in number 2 which is the ground floor apartment overlooking the pool. It had 2 bedrooms, a shared bathroom, small kitchen, seating area and a large outside terrace. The apartment was immaculate and I usually travel with my sister and her children so this apartment would be perfect if I stayed with her.
The pool area was great, very clean, quiet and beautifully kept with plants and flowers, plenty of sun loungers and parasols.
Manuel the owner was great, very helpful and always around if needed. He was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, unfortunately my husband needed to return home early and Manuel sorted his transfers out back to the airport and checked up on me every day to make sure I was ok. 
I'm looking forward to returning in the future with my friends and family as it really did have a home from home feel and Manuel really contributed to that, thank you so much

Beautiful villa

We spent last year two weeks at Villa Xemxija and keep wonderful memories of these holidays.
We stayed there with two 5 years old children and we loved everything. The very nice swimming pool and appartement, the location close to the village by foot and the welcoming atmosphere with a so helpful Manoel always helping and giving us good advices.
We fully recommend !

Fantastic family holidays in Villa Xemxija !

The villa is located ‘up the hill’ from the main area of Xlendi in a quiet location but only takes 5-10 minutes to walk in - maybe longer to walk back! If using the bus, there are 2 stops nearby (depends on if you want to walk up or down the hill). Also close by to walks across the cliffs just south of Xlendi Bay. 
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a large spacious clean apartment with balcony with optional sun canopy & view over the pool. And the sea in the distance was a bonus! The bed was huge & linen/ towels replaced after a week. Air-con was available (via a coin meter). Fridge was lovely & cold. Balcony had 2 chairs & table plus 2 sun loungers & an airer to dry washing. Pool was very clean but, as early in the year, was a tad cold! Worth it once in though. There are more sun loungers & sun shades around the pool. Free wi-fi too. 
The owner, Manoel greeted us on arrival & was around most mornings to check on the pool & would answer any queries. He was also available by telephone. 
It’s not a super modern state of the art minimalist villa which some people like but instead has a more traditional architecture & a charm which we loved. Would definitely stay here again if availability.

Great location in traditional villa

Location is everything... 

Gozo is a pearl, Xleni is a pearl on Goxo, and Villa Xlendi is the best apartment in Xlendi. It's that simple. We keep coming back to this place with our 3 kids. We spend the time snokelling around the island or relaxing by the pool. Pauline and Manoel are attentive hosts.

We will come back yet again for sure...

Still great, after the 4th stay

Pauline and Manoel were great hosts.  We found them to be very attentive and always on hand if needed to help out.  They offered very good advise about places to visit on the island.  The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.
The pool was beautiful and kept very clean and tidy.  We would love to visit again and would recommend this villa to our friends and family.  Thanks again for a really super stay.  Jeremy and Lucy [Villa 1]

Fantastic stay in Gozo

Amazing place to stay in, even in the windiest of weather conditions, it was a cosy place to stay. We wanted  quick night so we went to Gozo quite for a short period. The place is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Started the new year on great footing.

Amazing Place

Since I'm a very bust person I decided to go for a weekend break with my  2 children in the beautiful island of Gozo to relax I booked villa Xemxija and got a one bedroom apartment which was very clean and has all amenities  including a pool . The place was really relaxing and there was no shouting or other noises, just peace and quite. From my terrace I enjoyed the pool view and sea view. The owners were very helpful . Looking forward to visit again.
