We arrived in Malta from England with no accommodation for our 7 night stay. The taxi dropped us off at a cafe bar across the road from Hotel Roma and we initially only booked for one night as the price was cheap and decided to give it a one night trial. The rooms are basic but clean, the staff were very helpful. The air-con was an absolute godsend as it was 38degrees! After our one night stay we booked a further 6 nights and upgraded our room for a balcony for just €25 (so worth it) I think in total we paid around €650 for a weeks stay and it was everything we needed and more. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody who just uses their hotel room as a base and do not be put off by the reasonably priced room! Ok we didn’t have a pool but we had the beautiful Mediterranean Sea right on our doorstep.

A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel «Hotel Roma» is located in Sliema. This hotel is located in the city center. In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window.
