Comfortable clean apartment for family in the center of valleta but better in the photos. Some careless details made the difference.In the first sight as you get in everything looks lovely but then you discover what is hidden from the photos.Overatted in price for some old things there were in the room, such as damaged pillows, mold in the walls, no handles on the bedside table. Bad and careless "quickie" preparation for the 3rd bed we asked for. The linens were for a diferrent size of bed and didn't fit so we had to fix it all the time.
It looks like a suite and you pay for a suite but unfortunately by wanting to show vintage they just put whatever they had from old furniture, like the chairs in the kitchen or the very old and smelly wardrobe in the sleeping room. Noisy neighbours if you want to sleep.Modern shower bath.

FAMILY CITY BREAK IN MALTA

Nice location to access Valletta a two minute walk to the sea great for a early morning swim ,communication with the owners is good via WhatsApp, Alfonso a friendly chirpy chap. Air conditioning very good and needed in the warm temperature, the apartment has everything you need for a break

Valletta authentic apartment

A central, modern and great place to base yourself out of in beautiful Valletta.

The apartments are huge and while there is no on-site management (front desk etc) the owners will meet and great on arrival and provide you all the information you need (and yep you still get daily room service).

The view from the terrace on the roof is incredible; out bottle of wine on sunset will be very missed. 

Lastly the best bed I have slept in in a very long time. 

We will return. 

Great apartment, brilliant location 

Stayed in number 5 with lovely view of great harbour. Location could not be better and near to bus station so easy to access other locations in Malta e.g. went to Mdina on bus and very easy. 7 day bus pass good value and means you can get to tourist destinations after tourists have left if time it right. All buses air conditioned. Good supermarket to buy takeaway food but also plenty of restaurant choice. Hostess very helpful and arranged airport pick up for us. Recommend

Excellent location and great flat

The apartment is down a narrow back street off Old Bakery Street. Nobody knew where Eagle Street was – even though, eventually, we were within twenty meters of it! Having found the street we phoned Cynthia our contact who came out to meet us, she was very helpful and friendly.

After carrying our luggage down twenty odd steps and up a flight of stairs we were really pleased with our choice of venue for this year’s New Year’s Eve celebrations. It had a large kitchen diner and separate bedroom with a full en-suite bathroom (no bath). Perfect for our needs.

The kitchen was fully kitted out and also had some basics to get us started although there is a convenience store less than five minutes’ walk away. The lounge area was comfortably fitted out with a large seating area and dining table and, for entertainment, a flat screen TV with plenty of channels to choose from.  We had no noise from the neighbours and it was in a very quiet pedestrian safe well lit alley. 

There were more than enough electric sockets and a nice touch was the UK Europe adaptors left in sockets for the use of visitors.  The wi-fi worked well.

The shower was OK although the shower head could do with de-scaling, but the hand held shower was more than adequate in the wet room.  The loo basin area was bijou but adequate and the lighting throughout the apartment was good.  The bed was a large double, comfortable although for us it was rather low, but we slept well.  There was plenty of cupboard space and the fridge freezer would accommodate most people’s needs.

Would we stay here again – yes, if returning to Valletta.

Well placed for exploring Valletta by foot

Our first visit to Malta and a few days in one of these lovely apartments. Just perfect. Right up close to upper Baracca gardens and the mighty lift. A winner all round. The service from Suzi was excellent. Very impressed.

The apartment has a great location. Comfortable and quiet. Liliana (our host) is very nice and helpful. On the first night I broke my leg. She took me to a doctor. I constantly inquired about my condition. It was great here

The house is wonderful! It is very clean and well decorated! It is located in the heart of valletta and everything is accessible on foot. The lady who welcomed us was really kind and pointed us all the spots we had to see in Malta. The only disadvantage is the really bad wifi but the place definitely worths the money!

The place to be!

We booked this apartment through AirBnB. From the beginning, Lilliana, the owner was very professional and responded to queries very promptly. The apartment was exactly as portrayed in the advertisement. It is located in old Valletta in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is within walking distance to major attractions in old Valletta and the ferry to Silema. The apartment has all amenities and supplies for a self-catering apartment. There are plenty places to eat around the apartment and there is also a mini-supermarket where you can purchase groceries. Overall, we had a fabulous stay at Sally Port City Pads and would certainly stay again when we visit Malta again.
